All the kidnapped children were on their way home, thanks to Kevin’s pack mates, except for Jack and Spencer who were staying in the kitchen with the mums.

The pack children had all gone home and would be coming back later for the BBQ. No one wanted the children to be around when the witches were interrogated.

And now the lemmings and Jake Conway were bound to garden chairs.

Standing in front of them were David, Kevin, Gabe, and Bertrum. Everyone else was standing further back, watching. The Alpha King’s guards were standing with the vampire guards, ready in case anything kicked off.

David turned to look at everyone. “Before we start interrogating them again, as per Gabe’s request, I went down and got more information out of them.”

Stefan coughed.

David grinned. “And by I, of course, I mean Father and I.”

Snorts were heard from those watching.

“We haven’t got our friend Giles here to talk yet, but the other witches told us everything they knew,” David said.

“I’m sure they hoped that by telling us what they knew, their punishment wouldn’t be so severe,” Stefan added.

“Idiots,” Dave muttered.

“Right?” Sean said. “After being involved with all of this crap, what did they think, that Gabriel would pat them on the head and say, ‘Okay then, I’ll let you all go scot-free?’”

“Well, they don’t seem to be the brightest of bright people,” Hunter said.

“Indeed,” David agreed. “So, these delightful lemmings told us more about everything they were involved in, which has already been discussed. It would seem that it’s not just child trafficking, but child sex trafficking.”

Gasps were heard from those around them.

“With Giles and Jake here being the main two involved with that part of the network.”

“Sick freaks,” Kayden muttered.

“They are indeed. The lemmings, however, don’t know where the sex clubs are,” Stefan said, sounding disgusted.

“Are there these kinds of clubs here in the UK?” Taha asked, shocked.

“From what we can tell, some are… those ones we can find. It’s the international ones we’ll have problems locating,” David added.

“And that’s if those children are still alive now,” Kevin said. “I have some international contacts I can message, they will help.”

“I also know people that can help,” Bertrum said. “As Alpha King, I can get international wolf packs involved.”

“As can I,” Stefan added.

“Thank you,” David said, looking at them. “I’m sure there will be details of where they were sent somewhere on the devices we have.”

“That’s a safe bet, considering they recorded all their meetings and didn’t disguise their voices,” Ivan said.

“Like Hunter said, not the brightest of bright people,” Gio remarked.

“I didn’t tell you earlier, but we also ran a search on all their financial records, and when I say we, I mean Gavin,” Ivan said, smiling over at him while pulling his phone out of his pocket. “Over the last five years, they had all received large payments from a dummy corporation called The Masters. We still have searches running for more information on this corporation.”

“All that money, along with all your assets, now belong to the coven, to be redistributed as I see fit,” Gabriel told the bound witches.

“I’m thinking a lot of children’s charities might be seeing some of that,” Mathis said.

Gabe nodded. “They will indeed, and all the rescued kidnapped children.”

“I don’t need money,” Jack said, coming to stand next to Seth and Gio. “But I need that one there punched in the face.”

“Giles?” Gabriel asked, looking at him.

Jack nodded. “He kidnapped me. Told me I was to be his new plaything. That I was to be kept in a cage in his bedroom and that when he took me out of the cage, he was going to tie me to his bed. I don’t know what he was planning after that... well I can guess, but before he could say anything else, I kneeded him in the nuts and bit his hand, so he used magic to tie me up and threw me into the boot of his car.”

Gio walked forward. “That boy is my son,” he snarled out before punching Giles. Blood spurted from his broken nose, not that he complained as the punch knocked Giles out.

“And now we can’t question Giles,” Owen commented.

“He deserved it,” Seth said, his arm around Jack’s shoulder. “If Gio hadn’t punched him, I was going to do it.”

Jack leaned into Seth and smiled at Gio. “Thanks. Someone needs to punch that one for taking Spencer.”

“I’m sure that will happen soon, but we need answers first,” Bert said. “I’m sure more than one of us wants the pleasure of punching him. But for the moment, Jakey boy here needs to start talking.” Saying this, he walked over to Jake and stood in front of him, crossing his arms over his chest. “So, rumour has it you have set some kind of plan in motion and paled when my name was mentioned.”

Jake gave an evil smile. “Your time as Alpha King is coming to an end.”

“How?” Kevin demanded, walking to his brother’s side.

Gabriel ignored them and started to look around. Something was in the air, but he didn’t know what. He pulled his wand out.

Noticing, Kayden asked softly, “What’s wrong?”

“Something strange is in the air. Can’t you feel it?”

“Now you mention it, I can,” Sean said, pulling his wand out, as well.

“We need a shield around all of us and the pack house right now,” Gabe said urgently, and he threw his magic out, creating a shield.

Kayden pulled his wand out, and he and Sean added their magic to the shield just as an explosion sounded from around them, before flames engulfed the shield.
