Gavin was sitting in the office, still going through computers from the lemmings. The amount of information that was found on these devices was incredible. How an underground network of evil people didn’t have better security on their devices or indeed, delete files properly was insane.

“Gah, it shouldn’t be this hard to find who this Masters company belongs to,” Ivan said in frustration.

“Do you want me to look and you can take over from me?” Olly asked.

“Sure. You’ll probably find the answers straight away,” he replied while standing up. “How about you, Gav?”

Gavin waved his hand in an Okay way and then signed to Ivan.

“There’s too much to do here,” Ivan replied.

Olly looked up. “What did Gavin say?”

“That I should take a break and go and see Jamie.”

Olly nodded and smiled at Gavin. “And our little brother would be right. Go have a break, see Jamie, and then come back refreshed.”

Ivan looked undecided.

Gavin clicked his fingers and Ivan looked at him, then laughed.

“Fine, I’ll go, but only because I’m not dull. Thank you very much, Gavin,” Ivan said, pretending to scowl at him.

Olly laughed. “Off you go then.”

Ivan nodded. “I won’t be long, but if you need me, call.” And with a final wave, he left the room.

Olly looked at Gavin to see him frowning. “What?”

Gavin started to sign.

“Okay, stop right there. I do not need you to introduce me to anyone. If I have a mate out there, one day I’ll find them, but that won’t be today. So, no meddling in anything or telling Dave I need someone in my life,” Olly told him.

Gavin gave a silent laugh.

“I mean it, Gav. You say anything to Dave, and I’ll find something horrible to do to you.”

Gavin laughed again, not believing that Olly would get him back. And anyway, he didn’t need to mention it to Dave. He could tell Gabe, Sean, and Ian who would then tell Dave for him.

Bert walkedinto the pack house kitchen and saw everyone sitting at the table eating breakfast. Sean and Kayden were there, as well as Seth, having all stayed the night.

“You look tired, Gerty Berty,” Kevin said, looking at his brother. “Did you sleep last night?”

“Sit down, darling, and I’ll get you coffee. Have you eaten?” Lissa asked him.

“I grabbed an apple,” Bert said, flopping down at the table.

“Here,” Ian said, handing him a clean plate before pushing dishes towards him while Lissa fixed him a coffee.

“Thanks,” he said, taking a sip before putting food on his plate. “To answer your question, Bacon, no, I’ve not slept yet. I was on the phone with Icarus, going over some of the information Giles told us. Unsurprisingly, two of the named men have gone into hiding. I have guards out looking for them as we speak.”

“We’ve not filled Gabe in on everything we found out yet,” Sean said.

“It would be helpful to meet up with Stefan, David, and Gabe today to discuss what we learned,” Bert said.

“Let me message them and set up a time,” Kevin said, pulling his phone out of his pocket and sending them a message.

“I need to get back and check on Jack and Spencer. I also need to take them shopping for clothes and anything they want for their room,” Seth said.

“I could always come back with you,” Lissa offered. “Then Annie, Louise, and I can sort all that out for you.”

“Lissa, I love you. That would be a big help, thank you. My idea of shopping is jumping online and ordering whatever I need.”

“Leave it to us, dear. We’ll make sure the boys have everything they need,” Lissa assured him.

Just then, Kevin’s phone beeped, and he opened his messages. “David said come to lunch and we can have the meeting afterwards. Apparently, Hunter’s parents are coming for lunch to meet Gavin and his family.”

Sean looked at Bert. “Maybe Max will be there.”

Bert shook his head. “No, he’s working all day at the library.”

“Is he?” Seth asked, smiling. “How would you know that?”

“He told me when we messaged last night. Dave gave him my number and he texted me. We messaged back and forth for a while.”

Ian laughed. “Now we know the real reason you’re tired today.”

“Oh, shut up,” Bert huffed out as everyone around the table laughed.
