Kevin was still sitting at the table talking to everyone. Hunter and Gavin had left as had Taha.

“I’m going to the library to work with Max,” Dave said. He had just stood up when Kevin ‘s phone rang, and he sat back down.

“What’s up, Ian?” Kevin asked on answering.

“We found a location for the missing children. They are due to be shipped out tomorrow,” Ian said.

“Come back with the address and we can go and rescue them,” Kevin told him.

“Will do. Can you get Gabe to open a portal?” Ian asked.

“Yep, see you in a bit,” he said, hanging up. “Gabe, can you open a portal for Ian?”

“I can,” he said and waved his hand, opening a portal.

“What’s going on?” Dave asked as Ian came through the portal carrying a folder.

“Thanks, Gabe,” Ian said. “As for what’s going on, we have an address for some of the missing children. They’re due to be shipped out to Columbia tomorrow evening.”

“Then we have time to rescue them,” Kevin said, standing up. “I’ll call for backup, and we can go and get them.”

“Before you go, let me take a copy of the names and we can start searching for their families,” David said.

“Here,” Ian said, handing the list over to him as David grabbed his phone and took photos.

“Do you want some vampires to go with you?” Dave asked.

“It probably wouldn’t hurt,” Kevin said.

“I’ll come, as well, in case you need a witch,” Gabe said.

Mathis looked at him.

“I have to help, vampy,” Gabe said softly, putting his hand on Mathis’ arm. “My brother and coven were involved with all this. I have to help make things right.”

Mathis grabbed his hand and kissed it. “Okay, little witch.”

“I can go with Kevin,” Creed said.

“I can go, as well,” Seth offered.

“Not without me,” Gio said.

“You know this is what we do, right? I’ll be fine, babe,” Seth said. looking at him.

“I’m not doubting you my Seth, but I’m coming, anyway,” Gio told him.

“We can go, as well,” Rickon said, pointing to the others.

David looked at them for a moment before nodding. “Mathis and Raz will go with you, as well. But if Kevin, Ian, Seth, Mathis or Raz tell you to do something, you do it. This will be your first rescue mission, they are all trained professionals.”

“Do you want me to call Sean and Kayden to come, also?” Gabe asked.

“I’d rather they stayed looking through those files, if you don’t mind, Gabe,” Kevin said.

“Nope, I don’t mind. I think I would rather keep them safely looking through the files,” Gabe paused. “Well, as safe as they can be in the coven house.”

“Don’t forget Ivan and Neill are with them, as well,” Mathis pointed out.

“That’s true,” Gabe agreed before looking at David. “I wonder if you can look at the lemmings and see if you can find out who the missing witch is.”

David nodded. “We can bring the lemmings here and I can do that. I will extract everything they know for you.”

“You might need to use the potion on Giles if he clams up again. If you do, have Sean or Kayden come and say the spell for you, but thanks,” Gabe says with a deep sigh.

“Gabriel, remember we’re all here to help. You don’t have to do any of this alone,” Kevin said. “I feel partly responsible. This happened under my nose, and I didn’t even get a hint of something this bad was going on.”

“The same with me. I prided myself on knowing everything that’s going on in and around this area. Knowing we missed something this big, that children have been kidnapped practically under our noses, is unsettling,” David said.

“I wouldn’t beat yourselves up too much. Don’t forget witches were involved. They could have hidden everything with magic,” Gabe said.

“That’s practically word for word on what Kayden said,” Ian commented.

Gabe grinned. “We can’t both be wrong, then.”

“Thank you, Gabe. Everyone who is coming, it’s time to go. We’ll head to my place and make plans before we rescue the children,” Kevin said, standing up.

“Does this mean I get to meet your brother?” Creed asked him, smiling.

Kevin sat back down sighing. “Most probably.”

Ian snorted out a laugh and looked at his phone. “Nope, your brother was called away this morning. It’s safe to go home.”

“Then let’s go before he comes back,” Kevin said, standing up again.

“I can’t wait to meet your brother,” Dave said, laughing.

“I’ll record the meeting,” Ian said, laughing as he stood up.

“Stay in touch, and if you need more help, shout,” David said.

“Will do,” Kevin replied as those that were going left the kitchen.

“I’m off to the library while you do your woo-woo stuff on those witches,” Dave said, giving David a quick kiss and standing up. “If you need me, text me.” And with that, Dave left the kitchen.
