Gavin was having fun with Shelby.

Shell showed him round and then took him to look around his room. Shelby had pulled out all the different piercing tubs to show Gavin. “So these are all for different piercings,” Shelby said.

Gavin pointed to one that said ‘PA.’

“These are used for a Prince Albert piercing.”

Gavin looked at Shelby and signed, “What?”

“A Prince Albert is a penis piercing,” Shelby told him.

Gavin took a step back and crossed his legs.

Shelby chuckled. “Yeah, I don’t blame you. Healing time can be anywhere from four weeks to six months.” He pointed to another box. “Want to know what these ones are for?”

Gavin shook his head.

“If you ever want a piercing, come and see me,” Shelby offered.

Gavin signed.

“I think that’s Hunter is designing you a tattoo.”

Gavin nodded.

“Nice.” He glanced at the time. “I’ve got a client in a bit and I need to get ready. If you’re still here at lunchtime, we can go shop for lunch for everyone.”

Gavin smiled, nodded, hugged Shelby, and with a quick wave, left him to get ready.

Hunter was throwing damagedequipment into the black bin when Gavin walked back in. “Hey, sweetheart. Have fun?”

Gavin nodded and signed, then crossed his legs.

“Sorry, Gav. I didn’t understand a lot of that.” Owen said.

“I did,” Hunter said. “Gavin had fun. Shelby showed Gavin some piercing jewellery, particularly, I’m guessing by Gavin’s crossed legs, the Prince Albert jewellery.”

Gavin nodded and grinned.

“Yeah, don’t put me down for one of them,” Owen said.

“Good, I would hate to have to maim or kill Shelby for touching you there,” Taha said, looking at him.

Owen laughed and moved closer to Taha. “Feeling possessive, are you?”

Taha nodded, not looking the least bit repentant. “Always,” he said, pulling Owen into a kiss.

Hunter shook his head, picked up the spare gloves and handed them to Gavin to put on.

It didn’t take them long to throw out all the damaged items. Owen and Gavin used their super strength to pull off damaged doors, rip out the sink and destroyed worktop, and pull out the shelves. They broke everything up except for the sink and worktop, and it was all put in the bin. The sink and worktop were left leaning against the wall.

“So unfair,” Hunter said, shaking his head.

“I feel jipped,” Taha replied.

“Dave and I have started a support group. You automatically become a member.”

“I’ll take you up on that. You would think we’d get something though,” Taha moaned.

“We did, vampire hickies,” Hunter said with a laugh.

Taha nodded. “That’s true.”

“So, thanks to Gavin and Owen, the hard part is done. Now all we need to do is take measurements, shop, and place orders,” Hunter said just as his phone pinged. He pulled it out of his pocket and clicked on his messages. “It would seem Bert wants to go to the library and asks if I have time to join him.”

“I’m surprised he’s lasted this long, to be honest, especially as he had his mate’s scent,” Owen said.

“Go and meet up with him. Owen and I can do the measuring,” Taha said to him.

Hunter looked at Gavin. “Do you want to come?”

Gavin shook his head and signed.

“You and Shelby are going on a lunch run?” Hunter asked.

Gavin nodded and signed again.

“Of course not, why would I mind? I shouldn’t be long, and Owen is here to protect you.”

Gavin scowled at him and started quickly signing, in a clipped, pissed-off manner.

Hunter grabbed his hands. “I know you are fierce, sweetheart, and I know you can look after yourself. But until recently, you were pretty much a hermit. Owen is here in case you panic or feel overwhelmed.”

“So am I,” Taha added.

Gavin gave a silent sigh, leaned against Hunter and nodded.

Hunter shot a message back to Bert that he would be at the library in twenty minutes if that worked.

He got a message straight back.

B: Perfect, see you then.
