“Miss Giovanna?” The housekeeper’s voice is hesitant, like she knows exactly what she’s interrupting. “There’s a young man here to see you. A Mr. Antonio. He says you have a date tonight.”
Tommy freezes above me, his finger still inside me, eyes locked on mine. “Don’t go, Gi.” He slides out of me and presses his palm to my stomach, like he can pin me to the bed.
“Tell me why.”
“He’s not right for you.”
“Really? That’s the only reason?” I’m trying not to sound hysterical.
“It’s true, Gi.” He’s so fucking calm.
I shove his hand off me and straddle him, pulling the blanket over my chest. “Maybe it is. Maybe it isn’t. Just say you want to fuck me.”
His brow tightens. “And?”
“And nothing, Tommy! Just fuck me. That’s all.”
Another knock at the door. “Miss Giovanna?”
“Just a minute!” I snap, then drop my voice again. “Stop stalling, Tommy. It’s insulting.”
His expression hardens. “That’s what you want me to say? That I just want to fuck you?”
“I am naked with my legs wrapped around you. Your underwear is soaked with both of our cum. Yes. Yes. Yes. I want you to fuck me, Tommy. Jesus Christ. You are so fucking brilliant. How can you be so obtuse?”
His voice is low and gravelly. “I’m not going to say that, Giovanna, because it’s not true. I don’t just want to fuck you. I want a life with you. I want every day, every night. All of you. Not just one night, not just sex.”
I blink at him, stunned, then shove him in the chest. He could not have shocked me more if he smacked me with a stick. “What the fuck are you talking about ‘a life with me?’ I’m not asking for forever, Tommy. I’m asking you to fuck me one time. That’s it. Why is it always all or nothing with you?”
He doesn’t flinch. He brushes his thumb over my cheek. “Because that’s who I am. If you let me touch you, sweet girl, I will never let you go. I don’t know how to ‘just fuck you.’ I’m not like other guys. I’m sorry.”
I want to scream. Why is he making me beg him to fuck me?
“You don’t get to do this. You don’t get to make me feel like a whore because I want to fuck you before I date you and date you before signing your lifetime contract.”
He frowns, confused. “I never said that.”
“It’s the implication. I’m the asshole in this situation, yet what you want is weird, Tommy. It’s fucking weird.”
He drops his chin to his chest and closes his eyes. I snatchhis hat off his head and throw it at him as I scramble off him, holding the blanket around me. I’m shaking again, but not in a good way. He makes me want to beat him sometimes.
“Just get out, Tommy. Go.”
“That’s not happening, Gi.”
“Tell him I’ll be right down,” I call out.
“Yes, Miss.”
Tommy is already on his feet, eyes blazing. “No fucking way I’m letting this happen. No fucking way.”
“Tommy, if you do not get out of my bedroom right fucking now, I’m going to start screaming, and while I’m well aware that you can easily take out my father’s entire security team, you and I both know that my father will not take kindly to you trying to hold his naked daughter prisoner. I’m assuming you don’t want to piss off the man you think will be your father-in-law?”
Father-in-law.Fucking insane!
Tommy’s lip twitches into a sneer. “I can’t believe you’re doing this. If he touches you, I will kill him, Gi. I’m not fucking joking.”
“Go fuck yourself, Tommy.” I hiss, jerking open my bedroom door. “Get. Out.”
