CHAPTER FIVE

Seraphina

F lying through the skies wrapped in Dev’s arms was unlike anything I’d ever felt.

The world was nothing, our problems were far and away, and we were free in this moment.

I planned to punch Ty in the face for not letting me experience this when they first kidnapped me.

Asshole knocked me out. And now he’d get to be jealous of Dev.

I smirked. I couldn’t wait for that bit of fun.

Dev soared lower, just above the trees. I could see the mansion in the distance.

His hard cock pulsed between us, and I desperately needed his naked flesh against mine.

He dropped to the grass, his massive wings slowing us as he took the brunt of my weight.

His wings were something from a fairy tale.

Like a fallen angel. The charcoal feathers looked soft as silk.

I reached out to brush my fingers through them. Dev shivered and groaned.

“That feels amazing, mera dil .” His voice was rough with desire and made my blood hot.

“Your wings are the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.” I whispered the words, in awe of this man.

His dark hair brushed across his forehead, and his heated gaze captured mine.

“Now fuck me good, lover.”

Dev growled as his lips crashed into mine.

His hands were everywhere at once, removing my clothes, squeezing my nipples, gripping my ass.

His body moved over mine as he laid me in the grass.

The earth was cold, but I barely felt it.

Dev stood and unbuttoned his pants, staring down at my naked body. His eyes roamed, and I squirmed.

“You look like the most delicious treat I could ever eat.” He dropped his pants to the ground, and I licked my lips at the sight. His cock was stiff, and a bead of cum dripped from the head.

“So do you, Dev.” I slipped one hand between my legs, coating my fingers in the wetness pooling there, so ready for him. “Keep your wings out.”

Dev lunged. He had my legs up and spread before I could take a breath. In the next second, he was fully seated inside me. “Fuck, baby. I missed your sweet pussy.”

His words shot desire straight to my clit, and I moaned. Dev fucked me slowly, thrusting once, twice, teasing me, and I begged for more.

“I missed you too.”

He continued the slow pace, his body molding to mine like the last pieces of a puzzle.

Dev’s bright-green eyes bored into mine, and he brought his hands to brush against my cheeks.

“Seraphina, my love. My heart. I am so fucking sorry for the mess I brought upon you. For not trusting you or my brothers. I will never be able to make up for this, but I will spend every waking moment trying to do so.”

I smiled up at him, the sensitive asshole making me feel things. And gods dammit if his words didn’t make my pussy pulse too. I smirked at him. “You’re going to turn me into a sap with all your pretty words, Devon Parrish.”

He grinned at me, and my fucking heart melted. I moaned as he continued to fuck me, slowly, his eyes still locked with mine. This was not normal; this was the beginning of something beautiful and raw and real. And I was fucking terrified.

As if he could sense my fear, Dev wrapped his hand around the back of my neck possessively, pulling me in for a searing kiss. Our lips parted just enough for him to speak. “You’re mine for eternity, Seraphina. And I will never let you forget it.”

“I’m yours.” I moaned, squeezing my legs tight around his waist. “Now make me come. Fill me up, Dev. I need it.”

“As you command, mera dil .” His eyes lit up with feral lust, and he growled.

Dev pulled me up into his lap and fucked me hard and fast. My tits bounced in his face, and his mouth captured my nipple, biting and licking them each in turn.

The orgasm built inside me as his cock thrust deeper and deeper.

I cried out as the wave of pleasure crashed through me.

My pussy squeezed tightly, and he groaned, pumping faster.

He whispered my name like a prayer as he spilled his hot cum inside me.

He held me close, his lips brushing against my bare arms, my shoulders, and up to my lips, his heart beating as rapidly as my own.

I stared into his gorgeous green eyes and knew this was forever.

Our souls were connecting in a way that no enemy could ever tear us apart again.

I would never, ever get enough of this man.

There wasn’t anywhere for us to fully clean up in the woods, so Dev—meticulously, I might add—wiped up the cum dripping down my thighs with his torn shirt.

When his wings snapped out to catch me earlier, his shirt was basically ruined.

All those torn up clothes would get annoying fast if we had to keep making these quick getaways.

Dev held me close and flew to the mansion, taking me straight to my room without any guards catching us.

I gave him the relic to hand over to Laszlo.

For now, we would play along. Our story was that I tried to escape at the bank.

Dev had to chase me down and returned quickly to lock me up before I could try anything else.

Laszlo would punish someone for my attempted “escape,” but I knew my men would survive.

And Dev and I…we needed that time together.

I brought him back to us, but so did Andras.

Dev told me Andras spoke with him and stood up for me.

My cold-as-ice prince was such a softie. I would tease him about that too.

I showered, changed, and grew increasingly irritated. I waited for some time, pacing the room, checking for any items I could use as a weapon. Nothing, of course. And all the windows were barred and nailed shut.

The last of my self-control vanished, and I banged on the door as hard as I could. “If someone doesn't let me out soon I will start breaking things! And this shit all looks old and expensive!”

I listened for footsteps, but none came, so I went to the dresser and picked up the expensive Tiffany Lamp.

The beautiful lamp was seconds away from getting tossed when I finally heard the stomping of guards outside my door.

Nah, I’m still annoyed. I threw the lamp with all my strength and smiled with satisfaction as it shattered against the wall just as they opened the door.

The guards in their stupid skeleton masks stared at me in silence.

I shrugged. “You took too long. Something was bound to break. It could’ve been your skulls.”

One of the guards stepped forward, walking past me, and laid a dress bag on the bed. “Change into this and call out when ready. If you don’t, Typhon will be electrocuted.”

Another guard placed a small tablet on the bed next to the dress. I swallowed down my angry response as I stared at the screen. The camera was pointed at Ty bound to a chair, a leather strap in his mouth. There was no sound, but rage radiated from him, seeping into my veins.

I glared at the guards, and they collectively took a step back, raising their tasers. “Get the fuck out before I kill you all.”

The guard who brought the dress laughed. “Go ahead, whore. The more you fight, the worse it will be for him and the others.”

This one was stupid and was going to die.

Slowly and painfully. I shook with anger as they left my room.

I ripped open the dress bag and sneered at the beautiful gown.

The fabric was made of soft velvet and the color was a deep burgundy.

The long sleeves ended with slim triangle points and loops for my middle fingers.

When I put it on, the sweetheart neckline and fitted bodice accentuated my cleavage.

The soft fabric pooled at my feet for a mermaid look.

The guards also left a box with a pair of black stilettos.

It was fucking annoying how perfectly the entire ensemble fit.

“Fucking creepy know-it-all cult leaders,” I grumbled and chucked one of my boots at the door to let the guards know I was ready.

When the door opened, I ignored them and walked out with my head held high.

I would not be intimidated by lesser men.

Or any man, for that matter. They kept pace with me, one of the idiots hurrying ahead to guide me to the Dining Hall.

Andras and Dev were waiting near the long dining table, looking delicious in black tailored suits.

Dev had his arms crossed and a frown etched into his face.

Andras looked cool as usual, his hands clasped behind his back.

His eyes roamed over my body, and I shivered at the attention. I missed his touch. I missed them all.

The guards stopped, forcing me to stay back.

The three Obscuritas Kings entered the hall next.

Laszlo barely glanced my way as he walked toward the table and stood next to the seat at the far end.

Darren grinned at me, and I smiled back.

His smirk faltered as I let him see the devil in my eyes.

He would pay dearly for whatever happened to my sister.

Samuel didn’t glance my way at all. He looked bored and walked straight to his seat at Laszlo’s right. Darren went to his left.

They shoved me forward, and the chair at the far end of the table was pulled out, waiting.

I took the seat less than gracefully, because these asshats didn’t deserve my niceness.

Andras and Dev each took a seat beside me.

Four more chairs at the table remained unoccupied.

Laszlo followed my questioning gaze and smiled.

“Another familiar face will be joining us shortly. Leviathan and Typhon will not, however. For the stunt you pulled earlier, they have received severe punishments.” Laszlo frowned as if he was hurt by this, and I ground my teeth, my nails digging into the arms of my chair at his casual tone.

“Perhaps if you learned to behave, those you care for would not be in pain. Although they do deserve it.”
