CHAPTER TWENTY
Leviathan
E ven though I knew we had to continue with this stupid ritual, every fiber in my body was shouting in alarm.
We weren’t allowed to see Seraphina after the shitshow in the ballroom yesterday.
Ty and I went to the gym and worked out.
Andras went off somewhere. But all three of us paced the halls and ended up in front of her door during the night.
There were five guards in front of it, which made me laugh.
The Kings were threatened by her, even if they wouldn’t admit it.
Once there were four, now only two Kings remained.
Although, I wasn’t so sure Dev’s father deserved the same fate as our own did.
The very brief moments we spoke with Morax, he mentioned Ezekial Parrish wanted to save his family.
We were fairly confident our fathers killed him before he could take action.
And all these years, they had Dev’s sister.
I never had a sister, or any close female companions.
Our fathers forbid relationships unless they benefited The Obscuritas.
I rolled my eyes, buttoning up the ridiculously expensive dress shirt.
Tonight, all of the important members would be in attendance.
There would be celebrities, politicians, and various other important people with deep pockets and shady connections.
They were to witness the true power of the Kings when they sacrificed Seraphina.
But hopefully, that’s where everything would go tits up for the Kings.
We all had a lot of faith in this mysterious brother of Morax.
“You’re practically shouting, Levi.” Ty chuckled.
I hadn’t said a word. “Stop feeling my feelings. It’s not my fault you’re in love with me.”
Andras sighed as he exited my en suite. “Will there ever be a time when you two aren’t close to fucking?”
“It’s hard to say.” I grinned and winked at Ty.
We hadn’t technically fucked, but came close while enjoying a female or two together. Perhaps that was simply because the chemistry between us as brothers was stronger than the feelings we had for whomever we were fucking.
Even as the thought formed, I knew it was a lie. Ty and I…there was something there. Something that was maybe worth exploring, but could cost us everything. My brothers meant the world to me, and I would be lost without them. But denying these feelings was beginning to make me uneasy.
Every man I had been with was at the direction of my father.
I’d never fucked a man for my own pleasure.
And I think I wanted my first time to be with him.
But would it break us? I shook my head, forcing the heavy thoughts out.
I caught Ty’s gaze. His hazel eyes captured mine, and I could see a question in them. A concern.
I looked away first and grinned. “Besides, you assholes fucked Seraphina without me. My dick’s been hard ever since.”
Ty chuckled, running his thumb over his bottom lip. “I miss her. I miss the taste of her on my tongue. Fuck.”
Andras adjusted his maroon bow tie, attempting to hide the restlessness we all felt. “Soon, brothers.”
The door opened, and Dev’s dashing form slid into the room. We were meeting for the masquerade from hell in my rooms. They were the farthest from our fathers.
“Soon what?” Dev asked, cocking his head to the side and leaning against the wall.
He looked fantastic in the forest-green, three-piece suit. He wore a crisp white shirt and a black tie clipped beneath the crisp vest. His green eyes shone brightly, and I smiled.
“Soon we will enjoy the delectable treat that is Seraphina’s pussy.” I winked at him, and he rolled his eyes. But he didn’t scowl, and that was something. Dev was officially coming around to this whole sharing thing.
With Dev’s attention focused my way, he didn’t see the beast of a man launch himself before tackling him to the ground. Ty reared back and punched Dev in the face, breaking his nose. Blood pissed from the broken appendage.
“What the fuck, man?!” Dev shouted, his voice laced with pain.
Ty leaned down, his face menacing. “That’s for shooting me in the gut, you little asshole.” Ty stood slowly and offered his hand to Dev, which our brother took.
As soon as Dev stood, I leapt at him, jamming my fist into his stomach. He doubled over, cursing and spitting mad.
“Fuck! What the hell, Levi?” Dev groaned.
“That’s for hurting Seraphina. And helping the Kings.” I patted him on the back. “You know you deserve worse.”
“Alright!” he snarled, shoving my hand away. He straightened, fixing his suit while blood continued to drip from his nose. “I fucked up. I know. And I’m so fucking sorry for it. I’ll spend the rest of forever on my knees apologizing to our girl.”
I locked eyes with Ty and smiled. “It’s a start.”
Andras walked toward Dev. He pulled out a handkerchief and offered it to him, his eyes glittering with dominance. “There will be punishments in due time, Devon. And you will take them, on your knees or otherwise.”
Dev’s handsome face fell, and his green eyes darted between each of ours. “You guys are going to tie me up or some shit, aren’t you?”
Ty grinned like the devil he was. “You can count on it.”
Dev’s eyes narrowed, and he pointed a finger at Ty. “Nothing goes in my ass.”
I laughed out loud and clapped Dev on the shoulder, giving it a squeeze. “Brother, there are no limits here. No walls between us. No holes denied. Are you in?”
Dev rolled his eyes to the heavens, as if searching for a way out of this, but there was only one answer. He rubbed his face, his broken nose already healed. “Gods above and devils below. I’m in.”
The hottest fucking fivesome ever was most certainly in my future, and my dick pressed against my pants at the thought.
Andras smirked, adjusting his bow tie and nodding his approval. “Now finish getting cleaned up. We have Kings to destroy and an angel to claim.”
Dev went to the en suite to clean the blood from his face, and I turned to the full-length mirror in the room to check my ensemble for the party.
My suit tonight was navy, a shade darker than my eyes.
I paired the three-piece with a bow tie, similar to Andras’s.
I tucked the white shirt into the pants and quickly slipped on the vest. While Dev’s hair was styled to perfection, I left my surfer boy waves to do what they willed.
Ty’s man bun was not quite as messy as he usually left it, and his beard was trimmed. He wore black from shirt to shoes. Fuck, the man was sexy as hell. I licked my lips, and his eyes flicked to mine, his gaze zeroing in on my mouth. I almost groaned out loud.
Andras cut through the sexual tension, stepping between us and tying my bow tie.
“Thanks, papi.” I blew him a kiss.
The stubborn bastard let loose a hint of a smile.
“Watch it, Levi.” Ty chuckled darkly. “You know Andras likes it when you call him daddy.”
“Fuck off, Typhon,” Andras snapped with little venom.
Dev laughed, and we all turned to him. He stared back at us, almost as shocked as we were to hear him sound so…happy.
“What?” Dev kicked off the wall and shoved his hands in his pockets.
I looked at Ty and then Andras. “Did you guys know he could do that?”
Andras smirked, his eyes soft as he looked at our lost brother. “I am glad you are with us, Devon.”
Ty stood and wrapped a thick, muscled arm around Dev. “It’s been too long. And while the timing of this reunion is absolute shit, I am glad you’re here too, brother.”
I stepped up to Dev and rested my hand on his other shoulder, giving it a squeeze.
Andras came toward us quietly. He wore his signature charcoal gray suit, with a black shirt beneath. The touch of color from his bow tie was new and fitting for this night. He looked around our little circle and slowly brought his arms up, resting a hand on Ty’s shoulder and mine.
“So,” I started, keeping my voice somber. “Should we have a theme song? Or like a band name?”
Andras barked out a laugh. Ty grinned and Dev cracked a smile. Exactly what I wanted.
“Let’s get this fucking night over with,” Ty growled.
We all knew whatever happened tonight, it would change everything.
