I turned around to face her. I pointed to her neck. “Where did you get that necklace, Cressida?”
She looked down and grabbed it between her thumb and finger. “A Shaman. He told me I would help someone someday, but he didn’t tell me what it meant, except that it would keep me connected to my spirit guides for whenever I had questions. It’s how I knew how important it was to you.”
I walked closer to her, closing the space between us again. “What was his name? The Shaman? Tell me, Cressida.”
“Anito. Why?”
I grabbed my own pendant. “That was the name of the Shaman who gave me mine.”
“It wasn’t an accident, Silas. We were connected before we knew each other. I didn’t mean you any harm. I didn’t even want to tell you about ourmoment, because it wasn’t my intention for that to happen. I’ve spent the past two days trying to figure it out. I tore that page out of my grimoire and when I came back the next day, it was there again.” She shook her head and looked at the floor, pleading, “Please believe me.”
Deep down, I did. There was something happening that was bigger than the both of us. “Thereissomething between us, Cressida. Some kind of magic that neither one of us can control.” I lowered my head, warring with my feelings. “I don’t know what to do. I don’t understand magic. I’m feel alone here. In the dark.”
“I don’t understand it either, but you don’t have to be alone, or afraid of me. I’ll keep your secrets.” She walked toward me, lifted my hand to her chest, placing it over her heart. “I’ll keep them right here.”
I looked up, my head still slightly lowered. She was begging me with her eyes. “What do you want from me, Cressida? My life is a storm.”
“I want you to trust me. I want you to know that I can help you.” She paused. I didn’t think she knew what she was saying. How long before I devour her and spit her out? I can’t do that to her,I thought. When I didn’t say anything, she spoke. “Do you think I want calm, Silas? I don’t. I want the storm. I want your passion. I want the animal in you.” My head snapped up. I was seconds from taking her, but I was holding back. “Hunt me. Take me. Don’t suppress your hunger. Take all of me, Silas.”
I moved my hand from her chest up to her neck, running my thumb along her jaw. “You don’t know what you’re saying. It’s the spell. I’ll make you unhinged, Cress.”
She grabbed my hands and moved them to her ass. She was writhing against me. “I know exactly what I’m saying and it’s not the spell. You told me that once, that you’d make me unhinged. I’m not afraid of that.”
“You should be.” A growl came from deep within my chest. “What about now, Cressida?” My eyes dropped to her mouth before I said, “What if you can’t handle me? I’ve only ever felt this close to my human side and my inner wolf during the full moon. I don’t want to hurt you.”
She whispered, “You won’t. I trust you.” My hand moved back to her cheek. My thumb caressed her bottom lip. My lips found their way to hers. She brought her hands to my face, running her fingers over the stubble on my jaw and through my hair. She pulled it hard, making me growl. I needed her. I needed all of her.
Chapter 5
SILAS
Cressida was lying in my bed as I hovered between her legs. Her body was beautiful. Her caramel skin so smooth. All I wanted was to trace every curve and line. To kiss every part of her. In that moment I wanted I wanted to take it slow with Cressida. “Cress...” She looked up at me but said nothing, bringing her hand to my face. “I never expected you to come into my life like this,” I whispered to her.
She reached up and pulled me to her. “I don’t know how it’s possible, Silas but you feel tangled inside me. I knew there was something different about you, but I didn’t know what, until our last call. I don’t care how hard or complicated this gets. I don’t. I want you.” I peppered her jawline with kisses, down to the crook of her neck, where I took in her scent. She smelled like rosemary and lavender. It was intoxicating and sexy.
I lifted myself to look her in the eyes. “You smell delicious. It torturous to go slow. Once we do this, there’s no going back.”
She smiled so softly. “I don’t want to go back, Silas.”
I grimaced at her. “I’m afraid of what you’ll see. That you’ll see me the way I see myself. You haven’t even seen me at my worst yet. You haven’t seen my darkness and how it consumes me.”
“My Silas. I’m not afraid. Be with me. Feel me. Trust me.” It was what she said to me during the spell. “I’m not afraid of your darkness.” I was lost in her. She pulled me to her again, making me grind against her. My hard cock rubbed against her clit. I needed her. I reached between us, gave my cock a few strokes, and lined myself up with her, slowly running the tip through the slickness of her folds, coating it in her wetness, teasing her.
“It’s so hard to go slow, but I’ll try... for you.” She nodded and ran her hands over my arms. I slid into her, making her breath catch in her throat. She was so wet and so tight. We moaned as her legs went wide, begging me to sink deeper into her. I reached up and held the side of her face, kissing her deeply while I thrusted in and out of her. Her moans were like music, a song just for me. “Fuck, Cress. You feel so good.” I went slow, fighting every part of me that wanted to go wild.
I got up on my knees, grabbed her leg and hooked it over my shoulder. She looked into my eyes, deep into my soul, and squeezed me inside her. It almost sent me over the edge. Kissing the inside of her ankle, I looked down to watch us collide into each other, then back into her eyes. Her dark, erect nipples tempted me to roll one between my fingers, eliciting a moan from her which only made me want to tease it more. I leaned down and sucked it into my mouth, as hard as I could, pausing only to lightly bite and flick it with my tongue as I pumped a hard, steady rhythm. Her breathing was heavier as she tried to quiet her long moans of ecstasy. I released her nipple from my mouth and sat back up to grab her tits and circle her nipples with my thumbs. She put her hands over mine and squeezed them harder. Moonlight shot through the window over the headboard. It was almost full. Our bodies, slicked with sweat, glistened softly in its silvery glow. I reached my arm around her thigh, picking up the pace, lost in the feeling of her.
“Slow down, Silas... Be with me... Feel me... a little longer.” Her voice was hypnotizing. I slowed down, wrapping her legs around me. She instinctually locked her ankles together and drove me into her with her heels. I gripped her ass and pushed deeper, holding myself there, closing my eyes, trying to breathe and keep it together. She squeezed me harder inside her. She begged, “Yes...yes, Silas. Harder...please.” She was ready. “Don’t hold back for me, Silas. Show me...” She moaned as I kept grinding into here.
I flipped her over, grabbed her hips, and brought her up on her knees, using my thighs to nudge her legs wider. Her head craned back, inviting me to grab her hair. I wrapped it around the fist of my left hand, just like I had when I was under her spell. She let out a moan and I wasn’t even inside her yet. I plunged into her, grabbing her hip with one hand and her hair with the other to pull her into me. Her moans grew louder, going straight to my cock. I was rock hard and pulsating. I felt like I was going to explode.
She panted, “Silas... you’re so... thick. Fuck me... harder.”
My body was on fire like I’d never felt before. “Fuck, Cressida.” I slammed in, pulled back and slammed into her again and again at a relentless pace. I didn’t know what any of it meant or why I felt the way I did with her. I released her hair and leaned forward over her back, scattering kisses down her spine. She quivered and turned back to kiss me. Our mouths locked together while I reached around and rubbed her clit. A muffled squeal came from deep inside her.
She broke the kiss to plead, “Oh my god, Silas. Don’t stop.”
“You belong to me, now. We’re bonded, Cressida. You’re mine and I’m yours.” She cried out, barely able to stop herself from coming. I could feel her muscles clamp down around me. “Let me hear you say it.”
