A giddy laugh leaves my lips, betraying my elation. “I’ve been dying for the day to come when I can call you mine. I can’t believe it’s happening.Youmade it happen.”
“I didn’t want to wait any longer.” His eyes growing intense, he says, “There was never going to be a perfect time. I wanted to reveal our relationship on our terms, not someone else’s.”
“I know, Kian.” Our love is too scandalous to avoid gossip. I’ll always be the girl who left one brother for another. “I just wish you hadn’t kept from me that you were going to do that. It was torture being at that party without you.”
“I didn’t want to spook Nathan.”
“Right before you showed up, I had made up my mind to tell the girls about my past.” Looping my arms around his shoulder as my mind replays last night, I murmur, “And when I saw you across the room, I just realized I couldn’t be with Nathan anymore. I was done. Another second and I would’ve run to you.”
A rough exhale lifts his chest and his grip becomes crushing. “Even if I hadn’t planned it for weeks, I would’ve claimed you still after seeing his hands on you. You’re my property, Iris. My woman.”
“Yes,” I rasp, inching closer to his mouth. “No more hiding.”
“No more hiding, Rainbow,” he whispers back, brushing a wayward tear away. “You belong to me now. The world knows it too.”
A tilt of his chin and his lips crush against mine in a savage kiss.
Claiming me all over again.
Chapter Eighteen
Kian
The long ride to our location kicks in her jet lag, making Iris fall asleep in my arms.
As the limo glides to a stop, I don’t have the heart to wake her up. She looks so peaceful and adorable, fitting perfectly against my chest. Like she’s the missing piece I’ve been living without my entire life.
It should’ve been me chasing her all this time, not the other way around.
If she were awake, she’d say it doesn’t matter who did the chasing because we would’ve found our way to each other. I wholeheartedly believe it too.
I let the driver know to wait for a minute through the partition.
Gazing down, I push the soft strands away from the side of her face and become starstruck by her hypnotizing beauty. So much so that I swear I forget how to breathe.
A heart-shaped face with big round eyes the color of the sky, and long, thick black eyelashes grazing the tops of her sharp cheekbones. The natural blush on them, which deepens everytime she looks at me, drives me wild. Then there are those plump lips with a cute little Cupid’s bow that I could kiss forever.
She’s a tempting siren put on this earth for me and me alone.
I finally get to cherish her like I’ve been aching to since the moment we met. My eyes drift to her left hand, where the indent of the ring remains. I can’t wait for it to disappear until there’s no reminder she ever wore another man’s ring.
It was pure satisfaction when I took it off. The barbaric and jealous side of me wanted to melt it down so Nathan could never dare to put it on her again.
Shoving the thought aside, I simmer down. No point in dwelling on it. The wedding is off. Iris is no longer his fiancée.
It’s just me and her.
If I have it my way, it’ll be us and our kids.
There’s nothing to stop me from claiming the last piece of her that will make her eternally mine. The shackles on my lustful desires have come loose.
I’m going to paint and fill her virgin cunt with my cum.
I’m going to make her writhe and drip in pleasure.
I gave her a choice about contraception, now all I’m wishing is that she chooses not to take it. I don’t know how long I’ll be able to handle the suspense before I demand she tell me. Until I do, I’m going to fuck her like I’m breeding her.
Often and in every way imaginable.
