Page 104 of His Retribution
I am not on fire.
"I don't understand." I blink wide eyes at Cora. "I know that there is the possibility of transferred traits when a vampire mates, but I have never heard of this sort of thing before."
"Then let's get the wood out of your butt and go talk to Henny. Maybe he found something in the books he was able to translate."
"Perhaps..." I trail off and forget all about the sun, my lack of frying, the splinters, forget everything as my stare zeroes in on the thin trail of dry blood on the inside of Cora's thigh.
Mine.
Her blood.
Her body.
Her heart.
All of it is mine and I want what is minenow.
So when she turns to walk her perky little ass to the bathroom, no doubt in search for tweezers, I move quickly and snake an arm around her waist, pull her backwards, and toss her onto the bed.
"Havok!" She half laughs, half scolds. "What the hell are you doing?!"
I drop to my knees, grip behind her calves and yank her toward the edge of the bed, my angel's perfect pussy level with my face.
My eyes flick to hers as her heart rate picks up, keep our gazes locked as I run my tongue up her leg, lick it clean all the way to her core. Her intake of breath is sharp, her glorious breasts rise and fall rapidly in time with each breath, and when my tongue slides over her pussy, the taste of her, of her blood and her arousal, the hint of me and my cum, I growl so deep I feel it in my balls.
Unfortunately, before I can eat my fill, that goddamn passageway in the closet opens and Henrich himself comes running in.
"Havok! Havok, I must—oh my gods!"
He stops dead in his tracks, looks around at the open windows, the rays of the sun pouring in. Henrich takes in the sight of me on my knees, then quickly getting to my feet, my deflated cock now sad and hanging limply between my legs. His eyes bounce between me and my mate who is scrambling to cover herself with pillows while she laughs her delectable ass off.
He repeats his survey of the scene before him several times and just when I feel as though I may possibly kill him, Henrich blurts, "Fae!"
I park one hand on my hip, pinch the bridge of my nose with the other and sigh, "Are extinct. Have been for at least seven hundred years."
"No! Wrong! Incorrect!" he shouts with too much glee for a man who just interrupted my attempt to enjoy my mate.Again. "We were wrong! The chronicles are wrong!" Then as if the realization finally hits, his eyes bug out. "You mated? Congratulations! Of course! Oh gods, it explains everything!"
"Henrich..." I growl. "You have exactly two seconds to get the hell out of my house before I send you back to your mate piece by fucking piece in individually wrapped packages."
He looks at me then to Cora again, my angel still laughing uncontrollably and nods. "Right. Yes. Not the time. I see that now. Yes, I shall take my leave but please come to the main house immediately. I've found some very important, very useful information I need to share as soon as possible."
I nod and point to my closet. "Go."
"Yes yes, consider me gone, but please come at once."
"That was my plan until you fucking interrupted us."
Henrich pales but quickly rebounds with a smirk. "Time for that later. Main house in fifteen minutes or I'll be back." Then he rushes back out the way he came.
My shoulders sag as I turn toward my angel. "Would you be opposed to moving back to Slovakia?"
Cora wipes the tears from her eyes, and tries to control herself. "Oh no. No way. This shit is just too funny to uproot our life over."
Then I pounce.
I run toward the bed, jump on top of Cora, my mate dissolving into a fit of laughter once again. Then I straddle her hips, toss the pillows, and pin her arms above her head.
"You will pay for your disobedience, angel."
