"I needed you alone so I could do this." He pressed Parson up against the wall, crowding him with his body as he kissed him hard, letting all the stress of the night, all the pent-up need and passion he was feeling, and the love that was growing in his heart spill out into the kiss.
When he pulled back, Parson licked his lips, his hands gripping Beau's hips tightly. "Wow, that was some kiss."
"You're some man, deserving of the best kisses." Beau kissed him again.
"Keep that up and we'll never make it back out there." Parson was breathless.
"Not going to hear me complain about that." Beau pressed his hard cock to Parson's thigh. "How many hours until we can get in bed?"
"At least four, I'm guessing. That's if we can sneak out of here as soon as it ends."
Beau sighed. "Too long."
"I agree, but I'd rather have you in four hours for the rest of the night than have you now for only a few minutes." Parson cupped Beau's cock in his palm. "Trust me, you're tempting, but we have to be at the photo shoot with the kids in ten minutes."
Beau sighed, resting his forehead against Parson's.
"I know, but I promise I'll make love to you all night once we get back to your place." Parson ran a hand down Beau's cheek. "Give me another kiss and let's go."
Beau grudgingly did, hating that they had to wait.
It was nearly five hours later before they were able to leave. The crowds were gone, the crews were tearing down the stages, and the cleaning crew was hard at work. Beau rolled his shoulders as they headed out to the car. "What a long night."
Beside him, Jeff yawned. "It was fun though."
"It was." Beau ran his fingers through Jeff's hair. He'd thought the kids would get bored, but they'd followed his sister around all night, all but ignoring him. He was glad they had a good time, and as much as he hated he didn't get to spend much time with them, he'd been busy, and Beth and Warren had done an amazing job keeping the kids entertained.
"Where's Warren?" Lisa asked as if she'd just noticed he was missing.
Beau glanced at Parson and smiled before looking at Lisa. "He ran into a friend he knew and decided to go out with them after. He'll be home tomorrow." Truth was, Warren had hooked up with a young up-and-coming actress and had bowed out for the night. Beau was more than okay with that. He was with the kids and Warren deserved to have some fun.
"I know I'm going to sleep good tonight." Parson stretched his arms over his head.
Beau narrowed his eyes and Parson winked.
"Me too." Faith leaned against the car, pulling off her shoes. "My feet are killing me."
"Better get some new shoes before putting in hours at the hospital," Beau teased.
"As if I'll have the same shoes when I'm working." Faith rolled her eyes.
They all piled in the car, everyone loosening their ties and relaxing. "I'm thinking we all sleep in late tomorrow, then head out for a late brunch somewhere." Beau started the car.
"Oh, can we go to that place that has the huge omelets?" Lisa asked.
"We can." Beau glanced at her in the rearview mirror.
"I want a big stack of pancakes." Parson licked his lips.
Beau watched his tongue move over his lips and frowned. He was desperate to get Parson home in bed.
He'd just pulled onto the freeway when his phone rang. His blood ran cold hearing it was his STK phone, not his personal one. Ignoring Faith's complaining that he was breaking the law by talking on the phone while driving, he answered. "Hello?"
"Beau, we need you. Bryon's been shot. It sounds bad." Carter sounded worried, and that wasn't good. Carter was the calmest of them all.
"How bad? Get him to a hospital."
"He won't let us. It's to the neck, well, more the shoulder and the neck they said. You need to get here now. They're twenty minutes out. I have to trust the team to know where to bring him. If they're bringing him here, then they believe it's nothing you can't handle."
