Page 75 of Capturing Love
Laughing as he pulled me on top of him with a sleepy smile, I leant down to kiss his soft lips, feeling a subtle twitch below. I smiled at the instant effect I had on his body.
“Gray, you home?!” yelled a familiar voice from the living room.
My breath caught and my eyes burst open. “Is that your brother?” I jumped off Grayson and stumbled around, looking for my clothes.
“Get in the shower,” he whispered, clearly as alarmed as I was.
With my clothes bundled in my arms, I bolted for the ensuite, just before Adam walked through the bedroom door.
“What the fuck, Adam?” I heard Grayson hiss at his brother. “Ever heard of knocking?”
I turned on the shower and scooted back to the door to listen to their conversation.
There was a moment of silence before Adam erupted into laughter. “You have company? I’m proud of you, little brother. About time you tried someone new.”
Grayson blew out an impatient breath. “What are you doing here?”
“So, how was it? Is she hot?”
“Adam…”
“Speaking of, did you see Josie in those leather pants the other day? Fuck me.”
I gasped. Those pants really do have magical powers.
“Stay away from Josie, will you? We need her.”
“Yeah, I guess you’re right, but I need her to—”
“Why are you here?” Grayson snapped.
“Well, you haven’t been answering your cell. Mom’s pissed. She wants to know if you’re coming home for Thanksgiving.”
“Christ. Isn’t Thanksgiving a couple of months away?”
“You know Mom.”
Grayson groaned. “She needs to take on more charity work.”
Their voices faded away, leaving me straining my ear against the door.
Once the front door closed and I knew Adam was gone, I took advantage of the divine shower that occupied half the room. It wasn’t long before Grayson joined in and decided to take advantage of me.

The line blurred from that point onwards. As much as we tried to keep our distance, we found it impossible to keep our hands to ourselves. We completely ignored each other at work, but the minute we were alone all bets were off.
On the nights I worked, Grayson would organise a private car to take me back to his apartment, and on the nights I had off, he stayed at mine. We always made sure we started work at different times so we wouldn’t draw any suspicion.
Grayson appreciated me staying out of the office as much as possible, that way he wouldn’t have to worry about his brother’s advances. Every time I came in, Adam would find an excuse to visit my office, leaving me extremely uncomfortable and Grayson furious.
Amy knew something was going on, but she never pried. She looked entirely fascinated every time we were together, watching our auras, I assumed. I never asked her not to tell anyone, I just trusted she wouldn’t.
Two months had passed since the first night at his apartment. We used no labels, had no expectations, and it suited us just fine until a few days before Thanksgiving.
“So, what are you working on today?” Grayson asked, leaning over my shoulder. His hand rested on my chair and his thumb moved in discreet circular motions over my back as he reviewed my latest piece of photography. “That’s an amazing shot.”
