He pulls me against his side. “You looked so peaceful. I think you needed the rest.”

I run my hand down his chest. “I did. I haven’t been sleeping well, and we had quite the workout.”

We both chuckle.

“Dinner is about to be delivered.”

“I can’t believe this place. You’ll have to bring me here more often.”

He places a kiss on my lips. “You know I will. Maybe our honeymoon could be like this. Just the two of us away from the world.”

My heart slams against my ribcage. “Honeymoon?”

He nods. “I want to marry you—if you want to, of course.”

My throat swells. He wants to marry me. “I do, but do you think Ay is ready for that? Do you think we are?”

“I am. I don’t want to spend another minute not being your husband. And Ay loves you too.”

“Yeah, but this is a big step.”

He turns his phone so I can see his screen.
