Story: Puppy on a Leash
“There.” Once off, Tony placed it on his nightstand. Of course he wasn’t just going to throw it out of the way. “How are you feeling, pup?”
“Good.” I leaned to the side before I had a coughing fit. “Parched mouth. Fuck.”
“Wait there a sec.”
The mattress dipped with his weight before plopping back to its normal height. Tony took it seriously when he said a second. I heard the footsteps down the stairs. If I ran that fast, I got scolded, just saying.
I was only starting to plot how to tease him with it or use it for my own benefit when he reappeared, bottle of water in hand. He was genuinely the only person I knew who kept bottled water, but I supposed it was convenient when my throat was this raw.
I chugged the thing down the second it was within reach. He’d already had it half uncapped because that Daddy streak of his would always be there, apparently. I should look into finding him others to focus on with the Daddying.
“You good?”
Tony wasn’t huge on big displays of affection. He wasn’t like Sergio’s Daddy, who was all too happy to snuggle my friend to death and had to hilariously hold himself back when he was giving me aftercare. Tony had his tells, though—like how he scratched at the back of my head because I’d once mentioned the gentle scraping felt nice against the short hairs there.
He was doing it now.
“Yeah.” I drank some more of the water. I didn’t quite trust my voice for more words just yet. After a moment, I felt I could talk without coughing. “It was hot. I want to do it again, but damn. I’d forgotten about my gag reflex.”
Tony’s eyes widened before he burst out laughing. “I’ll take it as an ego boost.”
“I don’t know.” I scowled. Dammit. Never, ever give D-types ego boosts. What the fuck was wrong with me? “It could mean I don’t have a great teacher.”
I cackled when he all but tackled me—grabbing the almost finished bottle of water first, of course. God forbid the water touched the bed.
Lube and cum? No problem. Anything else? He turned green at the thought.
Didn’t make sense to me, but oh well. More material to tease him with.
“You really make wanting to reward you tough.”
I leaned up on my shoulder. He didn’t believe that for a hot minute. Even without the Daddy tendencies that weren’t disappearing anytime soon by the looks of it, Tony had mespoiled rotten. All I had to do was give him an inch, and he gave me an entire yard in return.
“So don’t do it,” I taunted. “Let’s see who breaks first.”
“Trying to tell me what to do?”
I snorted. “I wouldn’t dream of it, Sir.”

“Color, pup?”
Jaime’s eyes twinkled with mirth. “Green.”
He carried his puppy hood with the yellow accents, but he hadn’t put it on. He said most of the time their boys’ night—which wasn’t too strictly split by gender, from what I could gather, but got its name as a result of some friendly squabbling between Sergio and Kara—consisted of whoever was attending gathering around the bar area upstairs and talking.
They sometimes played together, but it was more laid back than a usual theme night would be. It wasn’t the kind of ambience I was used to when I went to a club.
This was about proving things could be different. I wasn’t going to give up D/s dynamics or protocol, but I could give a different vibe a chance.
Gosh, the pup was rubbing off on me in the worst ways already.
“Do I need to ask for your color, Tony?”
I scoffed. Jaime had taken up using my name as an honorific. I enjoyed pushing him until he gave it up and called me Sir instead, but deep down? There was a gravity to his voice when he used my name that wasn’t quite there when he called me Sir.I just couldn’t let him think he was winning all the battles this easily.
