Story: F*ck It Out With A Devil
Minutes later, he’s pulling up to her house. I know he called in the sweep team to go in first just in case this is a setup. We pull up to a vacant lot, two houses down as Dash calls me.
“Everything is good to go. I’m going inside to wait for this mother fucker. I’m overdue for a fight session and hopefully he puts up one.” He says, disconnecting the call, ready to give him the business aka these hands. Meanwhile, Karter and I wait outside in the car to see what else we can find out about this lying sack of shit. Onyx takes his own car, he craves that control.
“Do you believe her?” He questions. That’s not what I want to talk about, but since the timing is right, I answer him.
“Not fully. She seemed surprised that he was cheating on her, but was way too willing to hand over her phone when in the beginning she was ready to die for him. Why the sudden change?”
“A valid point you’ve made, brother. What do you think her reasoning behind it may be?”
“What if that’s her sister he’s fucking? She found out about them, and she hopes that we kill them both as some kind of revenge plot she has against them. Or, she could be telling the truth. I’m usually never off about things like this but-” I laugh. Hearing how far fetched I sound.
“But, you’ve got your mystery woman on your mind, and she’s messing with your brain.” Fucking Karter. I knew he didn’t want me to bring it up, but it’s okay for him to. What a piece of work he is. I’m not getting into it while we are here on business.
“If you think she’s messing with my head, why would you bring her up at a time like this?”
“Yeah, you’re right. That was a total dick move. Look.” He says, pointing in the direction of her house as a car pulls into the driveway.
The car parks as we watch two people exit. I don’t see their faces, but I know the backside of that twat Court when I see it. I hope Dash gives him what he deserves. The girl won’t have any choice but to stay out of their way.
“Let’s give Dash about ten minutes to handle him. After that, we go in and take over.” I have no doubt in my mind that he will be calling in seven minutes to let us know we can go in.
Looks like I was correct, I think as my phone begins to buzz.
“You both can come in now, they are ready to talk.” He ends the call as Karter and I exit the car and Onyx gets out of his; we jog over to Fred’s house. When we step inside, it looks like a tornado hit.
“What the fuck happened, Dash?” Karter laughs.
“Well, he put up a fight. It wasn’t a good one, so I had to make the best of it. He says he’s ready to talk now.”“The fuck I did.” Court growls from his resting place on the floor. I pull out another knife I keep stashed around my ankle and jab it into his thigh.
“Better hope I missed the vein in there that will kill you in less than a minute.” I chuckle.
“Fuck you, asshole!” He whines as blood squirts from his leg.
“Are you going to tell me why you stole from me, Court, or do you want me to get the answers from your girlfriend here?” I ask, ripping the knife out of his leg and turning to her. I take the bloody knife and pass it across each of her cheeks, painting her face red with his blood.
“I won’t tell you anything either, you will just have to kill me.” She spits.
“You sound just like your sister. Are you all in this together, or did she truly not know what your intentions were, Court?”
“Sister? I have no sister.” She hisses.
“You almost had me fooled. I find some inconsistencies with your stories. You see, she genuinely doesn’t know that you are in fact her sister, but that’s a story for another day. I would have made a huge mistake in killing her if I wouldn’t have seen you on that tape.” Amateurs they are. They fell for the oldest trick in the book. Reverse psychology. Alls I had to do was act on a hunch, roll with it, and BAM… All their dirty secrets begin to spill out.
“You idiot! How did you forget to wipe us from the system while you were inside fixing the video feeds to loop? God, must I think of it all?” She screeches, lunging for her boyfriend.
“Look, I was only doing what they asked so I could get rid of you all and finally marry the love of my life, Valentina Greyskin.” He chuckles.
“What the fuck have we stepped into?” Onyx asks, looking between the two of them.
“Court, this is all on you. Who is the ‘they’ of this story, and what the fuck possessed you to steal from us? Choose your answers wisely because they may be your last.” I growl.
“Why should I spill my secrets to The Devils of Cliffside wannabes? Huh? Why should I risk being killed for you assholes?” He mumbles.
“Because you are already dead.” I laugh as Dash picks him up off the floor and slams him down on the kitchen table. He grabs a piece of rope from his back pocket and wraps it around his neck.
“What the fuck are you doing?” He wails as realization sets in that shit is about to get real.
“Whether you talk or not, I’m going to kill you. Don’t let your death be in vain.” I add, walking to him and swiping my hand across the side of his face.
