Story: F*ck It Out With A Devil
No matter how much I’d love to give her more than this, I can’t. The Devils don’t bow down to or for anyone. She doesn’t know I’m a devil and probably never will. For tonight, I will give her everything she wants but nothing more than that.
“Oh, you are a dirty, bad, little girl, and I am going to have so much fun with you.” I promise as I give her all the things she asked me for and more.
We fuck off and on for the rest of the night, party be damned. No one missed us anyways, and I’m sure my Devils got into the same thing I did. After all, we are The Devils of Cliffside, and we always get what we want.
Chapter Four

Tonight is initiation night for the future Devils of Cliffside. At least, that’s what they think they are here for. I know, it’s harsh of us to get these youngsters’ hopes up like that, but what can I say, we like to play games and dare someone to challenge us. Anyone who does will pay with their life.
They should consider themselves lucky to have been invited to a gathering such as the ones we put on. The location is always a secret until you receive a text from one of The Devils confirming you made it to the next level. We run this university just as we run the town. My worthless father runs the city at present, but even he has to answer to someone much higher. My brothers and I don’t have that problem, because we answer to no one.
My phone begins to vibrate in my pocket, and I quickly fish it out to see Onyx’s name flash across the screen.
“Talk to me.” I say.
“Everything is all set for tonight.” Onyx likes to be organized and follow a tight schedule. I have no idea where he gets that from, because the rest of us just go with the flow.
“Good, we are locked, loaded, and ready to go.” I confirm.
“Fuckin’ A. Are you going to see your mom before you head out there?” He’s not usually this caring to anyone, with the exception of us, of course.
“Nah, I don’t wanna be a Debbie Downer and ruin anyone’s night. I mean, that’s what’s going to happen anyways, but for another reason.” I chuckle.
“Man, you really are a Devil.” His laughter fills my ear, matching my own because he knows all about the things we have in store.
“And don’t you you fucking forget it. Now, it’s time to put on your poker face and get ready for the games to begin.” I say, taking on a serious tone. “Do you have our guests of honor ready for their debut?”
“I already said everything was ready, don’t question me.” He grunts, and I throw my hands, surrendering as if he can see me.
“Watch who you’re talking to. I don’t doubt you, brother, but it’s my job to make sure everything runs smoothly.” I reassure him. Out of us all, Onyx may seem like the quiet one, but he is far from it. He is the one you should never underestimate.
Of course, he would never harm any of us, but others have been known to come up missing, just for looking at him sideways. If you see him on the streets, you wouldn’t think he was anything more than a nice boy that hides behind a mask, but we all know better and match his energy.
“Good, because I wouldn’t want to chop your balls off, but if you keep doubting me, you will be missing them before the end of the night.” He laughs, and that has me grabbing at my family jewels as if he had already tried to separate them from my body. “Don’t worry, man, they are still there.” He laughs right before he disconnects the call.
“Fucker.” I growl, pocketing my phone.
“Son, I expect you here this evening, there is someone I want you to meet.” My father comes into the kitchen with his crisp, white suit, unnaturally perfect hair, freshly shaven face, and so much jewelry and cologne on, that my senses and eyes will never be the same, and announces as if I give two fucks what he wants.
“I’m busy.” I turn my back on him only to be yanked back by his strong hand gripping my arm.
“Don’t you dare turn your back on me, boy.” He rumbles. “You might be younger, bigger, and taller than me, but that doesn’t mean shit! I am still your father!”
“What if I do turn my back on you, old man? Gonna have me taken care of, too?” I laugh. “The difference between the two of us is that I getmyhands dirty. You on the other hand have to pay someone to do the dirty work for you. Where is the fun in that?“ I laugh like the devil I am as I rip my arm from his grasp.
“Don’t play with me, Wyck, I have someone coming here that will change both of our lives.” He boasts, poking his chest out with pride. “And you are going to be here if it’s the last thing you do.” He storms off before I can tell him to go fuck himself.
My father and I haven’t seen eye to eye for a really long time. I thought it all started after my mother died, but as it turns out, it’s been longer than that. My hate for him only grewaftermom died. Now, he thinks he can order me around when I’ve never let that happen before. That old fucker has another thing coming if he thinks I will bow down to him that easily.
Walking to the over-the-top, luxury-style fridge my father insisted on wasting Mom’s money on, I open the cabinet-grade doors and grab me a water. Gotta stay hydrated for all the shit that’s gonna to go down, starting with the reason my father needs me to be home tonight. Not gonna happen and neither is whatever he has planned.
I whip out my phone once more and dial Karter.
“What up, bro?”
