"Gentlemen," I spoke. "Tell me what happened..."

Chapter 19

Diamond

Thierry had been gone for hours. So I made myself busy. The driver arrived with all the food and ingredients. Thank God, they'd been able to find everything.

I set to work, cooking and humming to myself. By the time I looked up, it was nearly midnight. Fatigue had set in and I wanted to go to bed.

"Well technically, it is your house," I said out loud to no one.

Shoving the turkey into the preset oven, I closed the stainless steel door. The oven was state-of-the-art and built into the wall somehow. I admired how much space was in the kitchen compared to my own house.

"Girl...it is a really nice house..."

My cellphone rang on the kitchen table and I looked over to see it was Trey calling. My heart sank just a tiny bit that it wasn't Thierry with his annoying ass. My finger hit green to answer and I put her on speakerphone.

"Hey babe," I hopped up onto the counter.

We started chatting like we hadn't just talked earlier in the day. It seemed like she had been trying to tell me something but I was waiting for her to spill it.

"So I have something big to tell you tomorrow at dinner," Treyanna giggled.

"Oh my God....do you have herpes?"

"Bitch as if. Don't play with my health like that."

Laughing I shrugged and poured some wine. I was starting to get a little worried about Thierry but this would keep my mind off of it.

"Sorry..."

"And why would I wait to tell you that on Thanksgiving Day? What in the hell would be thankful about that?"

"I said sorry, heffa," I laughed some more.

"So where you at anyway?"

"Well...I'm at Thierry and mine's house."

There was silence before I heard squealing on the other end.

"Oh my God...Diamond. The two of you are so fucking ridiculous. I think you like your husband."

"What?"

"You heard me," she cackled on the other end some more.

"No. The. Fuck. I. Don't."

"Why not?" she asked. "I like his brother."

"Yeah let's talk about your mess and not mines."

She gave a huff. "No. We are still talking about your mess. You have an entire husband....have yall had sex yet?"

I was quiet and I knew that was the wrong damn thing to be with Trey. She took that as an opportunity to start roaring with laughter some more.

"Brunch is going to be lit," she said.
