“Ouch.” He rubs the area. “If you’re going to do that, at least draw blood like I know you mean it.”
I laugh, settling myself on him.
He lazily runs his hand over my hair. For someone so manly, he definitely shows me his softer side.
I can’t help how my thoughts take me back to the house, seeing what he and Dean were doing to Tim. If I’m going to have him in my life, where does that side ofhis, come into it? “Travis?”
“Yeah, baby.”
I swallow, watching my fingers run circles across his skin. “Will you still carry me if I need you to?”
“Of course, baby. I told you I would. Wherever you need to go.”
I look back to him, my head craning. “Then I want to get out of the loop with you by my side.”
He doesn’t say anything initially, hesitation halting him. “Even after what you saw yesterday?”
Visions of him swinging the meat cleaver down on Tim’s leg, flick into my vision. “I told you, I’m good in those situations, even ones I don’t want to be in.”
My eyes turn down, and he studies me. “I shouldn’t have dragged you in there. But without you intervening, things could have been so different.” He means Tim would be dead. “You definitely got us out of that.” Gentle fingers stroke down my spine. “He didn’t deserve you helping, but why did you?”
I push up on my elbow, making sure he sees me. “I think, for the same reason you’re covering me today.” It had nothing to do with Tim and everything to do with the man, who in that moment, was descending into darkness.
For his sake, I didn’t want him to do it.
Realisation dances in his eyes. A few lines on his forehead knit, but they drop when I smile. “Were you scared?”
I give him a small nod. “I was scared, but not of you, just the situation you were in.”
He looks pleased. “You were scared for me, baby?” I nod, and he moves his hands to behind my neck, unclasping my necklace. The loss of the weight is freeing. He places it on the side, then tucks my hair which is hanging pretty dishevelled down one side of my face, behind my ear. “You trying to tell me that you love me, Baby Doll?”
I see mischief in his eyes. His smile making him look beautiful. Pushing up, I sit, straddling his legs. I want to lose myself in him. “Don’t flatter yourself, biker boy.” I bite my lip, lifting my hips and grabbing his cock in my hold.
“You’re such a bad liar.” He flips his hips, bucking me off of him and spinning me to all fours.
My breath whooshes from my chest, but I smile when he takes my wrists and lifts them behind my back. “Are you going to fuck me like you did Sophie?” I don’t like the idea of him fucking other women, but we’re both young. I get it. Plus, it was kind of my fault she went looking for him that night.
“Sophie?” he questions, and I hear the humour in his voice. “You knew she was a virgin when you sent her my way, right?”
My eyes dart open. I look back at him as best I can. “Oh my God, Travis! And you fucked her likedthat?” Jesus. Poor girl.
He hums, bending his hard body over my back. I feel his warmth. Feel his erection pressing into me. His hand not holding me then runs over my hip before he sinks two fingers between my thighs. Deep.
My lips part.
Pressing his front down harder, my hands are held underneath him as he lets go of my wrists, moving his hand to fist my hair. He starts pumping me with his fingers, pulling my head back on the bed. His lips then caress my ear, his breath hot and ready. “Yeah I did, Baby Doll. So imagine what I’m going to do to you.”
Then his cock is inside me, and I get lost in him.
Chapter Eighteen
TRAVIS
Nasty sex with a hint of sweet. It’s my new favourite way to make love to her. She’s sat on the stone wall watching me as I do all her jobs. It’s kind of cute. Like having my own little admirer who finally came along and clicked the reset button in me.
Today was the first morning I’ve woken up and was happy to come here, to the farm. I know it was Mollie’s birthday yesterday. She doesn’t know that I do yet, but giving her this day off is the first part of what I have planned. I’d asked Janette, knowing she would be able to look on Mollie’s application form and let me know. And she did. Because she loves me. I’ve always known it. Always accepted it. I just didn’t understand why when I fear all I’ll do is let them down.
Now, it doesn’t matter. Because I know that my future has Mollie in it. And Mollie’s here. With them. So, whether I think I’m deserving or not, I have three people in my corner who want the best for me.
