Please be advised that any and all press requests should be filtered through the company’s official public relations department.

It is expected that there will be increased interest around the Carter Corporation and William Carter Jr. in preparation for his seventieth birthday, but no one is authorized to speak on behalf of the corporation or the family. All communication must go through the proper channels.

Coverage of the party will appear in the New York Times, Essence, Black Enterprise, Town & Country, Vogue , and several other pending opportunities. No other outlet has been authorized for coverage.

It has come to our attention that journalists are seeking information about the Carter Corporation and all members of the family. The universal messaging to be used if any questions are received is “No comment.” If an interview has been scheduled, please refer to the preapproved talking points found in the email dated 4/30/15.
