Dear Ms. Carter,

Thank you for your inquiry. We regret to inform you that we have no documentation of a “secret club” or “extracurricular” for Black students at Harvard between the years of 1963 and 1970.

We have many organizations that help to foster community for our Black students, including the Harvard Black Students Association, BlackC.A.S.T., and the Africa Caucus. All of these are officially affiliated with the university. If there was an additional organization dedicated to the Black experience, we have no knowledge of it.

Unfortunately, Professor Hill died in 2005.
