Wrapping a towel around myself, I drop down on the edge of my bed and pull the drawer in my nightstand open.

I pull out the bag at the back and open the box.

Isit at the back of the auditorium watching Letty sitting in a Dunn sandwich in our lit class. She might not be dancing with them and they might not be touching her, but I'm about as wound up by her closeness to them as I was watching the three of them move together on Friday night.

I smile at her menacingly and she instantly cowers away.

When our lecture comes to an end, Letty’s not as fast to run out as she has been in some of our other shared classes. Probably because she feels safe while surrounded by her protectors.

The second she scoops her books up from the table and heads toward the exit with the twins hot on her tails, I do the same thing.

"Scarlett," I call once we've all cleared the doorway.

She tenses at the sound of my voice but she doesn't stop or turn around.

"Scarlett, Princess," I say, jogging up to her and placing my hand on her shoulder to stop her and turn her.

"Get your fucking hand off of her," Luca growls, taking a step toward me with his chest puffed out.
