Good morning, residents. This is your chief retention officer speaking. I am happy to report that fresh linens and uniforms are available in the clothing office. Soap dispensers have been refilled throughout the facility.

At 4 p.m. today Nurse Flores will be conducting an inspection to ensure that every resident is in compliance with the hygiene rules outlined in Section 2.1 of your handbook. Anyone found to be in violation is subject to a written reprimand and/or an extension.

Starting today, residents who have recovered from the norovirus will be temporarily reassigned to laundry and custodial, with shifts running from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Senior Attendant Jackson will continue to make adjustments as necessary.

The case numbers at this facility are starting to plateau, and I’m confident that the worst of this crisis is behind us.
