CRO █?█?█?█ asked how everyone was doing and if anyone had to evacuate.

Attendants Williams, Jackson, and Ortega raised their hands. Attendant Ortega said that his family is still with his wife’s sister up north because his littlest has asthma and the air quality is still so bad in Ellis.

CRO █?█?█?█ said it had been a tough week for sure. He wished to personally thank the staff for their professionalism during the evacuation of the facility, and he welcomed everyone back.

Approval of October Meeting Minutes

On a motion by CRO █?█?█?█ , with a second from Senior Attendant Jackson, the meeting minutes of October 8 were unanimously approved.

CRO Report

CRO █?█?█?█ managed to procure some heart and diabetes medications through a short-term agreement with Fair View, but regular shipments are not expected for another four weeks.

Work on the ward expansion has resumed. CRO █?█?█?█ had previously tied payment to timely completion of the project, so the construction company is sending a larger crew to make up for lost time. He is happy to say the project remains on deadline.

CRO █?█?█?█ reported that the resident survey that was contracted for last month was completed successfully. No surveys are planned for this month, but he expects another one to start as early as the first week of December.

Attendant Reports

Attendant Jackson reported that work contracts are running behind schedule due to the evacuation. The extended shifts will not be enough to meet deadlines.

CRO █?█?█?█ asked how many shifts are vacant at the moment.

Attendant Jackson responded that there were 23.

CRO █?█?█?█ asked why the numbers are so high, given that shifts have been extended.

Attendant Jackson replied that five residents are in the infirmary with the stomach flu.

CRO █?█?█?█ asked Nurse Flores if they’re really sick or if they’re using this as an excuse not to work. He asked her to remember who she’s dealing with.

Nurse Flores responded that she is trying to limit the spread of the virus.

CRO █?█?█?█ asked how long it takes to get over this stupid virus.

Nurse Flores responded usually three days.

CRO █?█?█?█ reminded Nurse Flores that he is running a retention facility, not a hospital. He asked Nurse Flores to apply careful judgment before admitting people to the infirmary.

Attendant Yee reported that all the cameras on the second floor are broken.

CRO █?█?█?█ said he was well aware, but what have you done about it.

Attendant Yee responded that he doesn’t have purchase authority in the system.

CRO █?█?█?█ asked where Senior Attendant Hinton was.

Attendant Yee responded that he has been out on medical leave since the evacuation.

CRO █?█?█?█ expressed surprise that Senior Attendant Hinton had that many sick days available, but in a way that makes sense. CRO █?█?█?█ said he would get Senior Attendant Hinton on the phone today.

CRO █?█?█?█ asked if Attendant Yee had found who committed the vandalism.

Attendant Yee responded that he had conducted an investigation, but so far he did not have any leads.

CRO █?█?█?█ reprimanded Attendant Yee for his handling of this whole situation. He said he would order the camera replacements right away and urged everyone to use any and all available means to identify the vandal. This was a top priority, he said.

Adjournment

There being no further business, CRO █?█?█?█ moved that the meeting be adjourned. The motion was seconded by Attendant Jackson and carried unanimously. The meeting was adjourned at 09:46 a.m.
