I heard on the radio last week that Madison had to be evacuated during the Perris fire, so I thought I’d check in on you, see how you’re doing. The damage from the fire is much bigger than anyone anticipated. I hope no one was hurt!

All is well on my end. I’m back at home now, falling into my routine again, although I’ve been cooking a lot more than before. I used to think meal prep was a chore, but I’ve come to realize just how much pleasure I get from eating meals I’ve made myself.
