“Do Mason and Austin have enough blankets tonight?” I ask Dustin.

“Yes, they’re all bundled up and comfy,” he says. “Doyouneed more blankets, missy?”

“Just don’t hog the comforter and stay close to me!” I say while nestling into him.

“I love you,” says Dustin.

“I love you too, hubby,” I say, giving him a kiss on the cheek.

“You’re not afraid we’re moving too fast?” he wonders.

“I’ve fallen in love with you and those kids, and I’m only falling farther,” I tell him. “I’m really glad we’re doing this. Areyouafraid we’re moving too fast? I hope you didn’t propose because you thought you had to.”

“Iwantyou to be my wife, darling,” he says sweetly.

“I want you to be my husband,” I say. “I think I’m ready to be a mommy now, too.”
