Page 31 of Silver Fox Daddies
I take a gulp of beer and drum my fingers on the table, losing my patience.
Ninety percent…
“Think about how tight she’ll be for us,” Cash says.
“Stop thinking with your cock,” I retort.
Ninety-five…
Ninety-seven…
“Is there a reason you three are hacking into biometrics?”
Hearing Grizzly’s voice, Cash shuts the lid immediately and frowns. “Hm?”
“We were just seeing if we could access some of the Reaper Sons’ passports,” says Bishop.
“You’re trying to investigate fraudulent passports, and hacking into the official home affairs website is the way to do that?” Grizzly looks unconvinced. “You three are smarter than that.” Once again, we’re the ones sitting down and he’s standing tall, arms crossed over his hairy chest. “Cash, you were supposed to be shooting targets today with the others. Where have you been?”
“Diesel has been giving me a one-to-one.”
“And Bishop?”
“In the garage, Prez, making sure our bikes are all in working order.”
We’re quick on our feet, but Grizzly still doesn’t look convinced, his flat expression suggesting that he’s getting bored of this now. “I need you doing what you’re supposed to be doing, not on the strip entertaining women in red dresses.”
Shit.
“Where is she now?”
We all share a look, telepathically debating if we’re gonna tell the truth or not.
“Back in the city, Prez.” Of course Bishop is the one that decides to lie.
“Okay,” he says, proceeding to trudge off.
I reach across the table to shove Bishop. “What are you doing?”
“What? You wanted me to tell the truth?”
I think for a moment. If he had discovered her in the tattoo parlor already, chances are he would’ve escorted her out and sent her on her way. For now, we’re safe, but we’re treading on thin ice.
Verythin ice.
“We gotta get her out of here,” I say.
Cash’s face turns glum, but he nods in agreement.
Bishop rolls his eyes. “I can’t believe you’re saying those words. I can see it in a woman’s eyes when they’re afraid. When they want to leave. Melissa doesn’t want to go. Not yet, at least.”
“Melissa doesn’t get a say in the matter. She’s not the one under attack.” I exhale a breath, thinking. “It’s too risky sneaking her out now that everybody’s back. We do it first thing tomorrow. At dawn, before everybody wakes up.”
Bishop rolls his eyes.
Cash waits for Grizzly to be out of distance, and then re-opens the laptop. “Ah, shit.”
“What?”
