“Who else have you used this on?” I ask.
Cash looks over the lid, amused. “I tried it on all of you guys. I must say—you cover your tracks well.”
I don’t just not have a digital footprint.
I leave no footprints whatsoever.
“This will give us access to all of Melissa’s information, including her family.”
“Do you think she’s up to something?” Bishop asks me. “Did you overhear anything when she was on the phone?”
“Bits and pieces,” I say. “It sounded like her father wasn’t pleased about the state she got herself into last night.”
Bishop’s eyes widen. “How the hell did he find out about that?”
“I don’t know.”

Twenty percent…
Finally we’re getting somewhere.
“I can’t believe she’s a fucking virgin.” Bishop looks like he’s about to pull out a chunk of hair. “Now, all I want to do is take her virginity.”
“We can’t. It wouldn’t be fair on her.”
“Huh?” Cash tilts his head. “Why not?”
“We’re not taking her virginity and saying farewell to her afterwards. That’s bad form.”
Cash chuckles. “Who says we’re saying farewell to her?”
“Well,” I explain. “We can’t carry this on longer than we need to.”
“I’ll carry this on,” Bishop says. “For however long I like.”
I turn back to the screen.
Sixty-five percent…
“We should get back to her soon before she decides to draw a tattoo on herself.”
“Her father will flip.” Bishop snickers. “If he’s going ballistic over a few drinks, wait until he finds out she sent a nude picture to three outlaws.”
Eighty…
