“ S ee what happens when you go off by yourself, half-cocked, filled with delusions of grandeur?” Tveir sat next to Einn’s bed, holding her hand.

It had been nearly a month since she was Magically whisked out of the cage her twin had trapped her in and unceremoniously plopped into yet another in only the All Father knew where. Thirty days, give or take since she'd been left with an unconscious twin.

Ready to scream the walls down when one of the Asgardian Enchanted Healing beds appeared in the middle of her new cage, Tveir had no clue what was happening.

Then, all manner of healing candles, crystals, mortars and pestles, a full supply of the healing herbs: Yarrow, Bistort, and Comfrey, and a grotto filled with the steaming, healing waters of the Well of Urer from far beneath the longest eastern root of Yggdrasil, the Tree of Life of the Nine Realms appeared, and she feared the worst.

Barely making it across the much larger but still a cage, rock-walled room, Tveir got as far as snarling, “Alright, Father, this has to be you. What the…?”

Then Loki stepped out of Ether with an unconscious Einn in his arms, and Tveir’s heart skipped a beat. Before she could ask what was happening or get to them, he was already explaining. “Your sister’s foolhardy plot to kill Hel did not go as planned.”

Gently laying her twin on the bed, he turned.

Shaking off all vestiges of sadness, he pushed back his shoulder, stood tall, and took a single step forward.

Holding up his hand when Tveir opened her mouth to speak, he slowly shook his head while glaring directly into her soul.

"I know that you were a part of the plot.

Please do not waste my time by trying to deny it.

" Dropping his hand, he stopped shaking his head and took yet another step toward her.

"So, now you must put your intellect and talents to work to save your sister. I can do no more."

And with that, he was gone.

Squeezing Einn’s hand, Tveir stopped just short of hurting her twin and ground out through gritted teeth, "I will get revenge for you, Sister.

I promise it with all my heart." Inhaling deeply through the huge, mismatched nostrils in the middle of her flat face, she seethed, "I may not be able to touch our dear sister or her stupid Mate, but I'll hit her where it hurts.

I get that Valkyrie and her bog, bad Wolf, too. "
