Boy band bloodbath!
Costumier gets 47 stitches after carve-up with rock and roll Cole
A member of the Go Tos’ entourage was rushed to hospital and received 47 stitches after a drunken late-night brawl that saw a Florida hotel room trashed.
The band’s costumier, Jasper Horner, was rushed to Miami’s Mount Sinai Medical Center by ambulance yesterday at about 4 a.m., U.S. East Coast time, with extensive lacerations to his left arm (pictured).
It is understood the room at the centre of the brawl—at the swanky Bellhop Glades Hotel in Miami Beach—belonged to troubled Go Tos rabble-rouser Cole Kennedy. Sources at the hotel reported some £20,000 worth of destruction to the suite, including damage to walls, shattered windows, broken furniture, blood-splattered couches and wallpaper, and a £2,000 coffee maker that had been smashed into a bidet, “like something Tracey Emin would charge an absolute bomb for.”
Hotel guests told The Bulletin they heard “crazed fighting” coming from an upstairs room at about 3 a.m. on Sunday, lasting at least 45 minutes. Although guests complained, the hotel did not manage to put a stop to the rock and roll fracas before the ambulance was called.
Horner, 28, is a long-time Totally Records employee, having worked with Jocasta Rose and Boy Treble. He is a graduate of the London College of Fashion.
Totally Records declined to comment.
