The Go Tos’ Cole Kennedy took fellow “Make Me a Pop Star” legend Jocasta Rose to the brIT Awards last night, sparking rumours the pair are dating.

While Rose looked at ease on Kennedy’s arm in a black one-shouldered gown from Alexander McQueen, perhaps she shouldn’t get too comfortable in the role? The pop heart-throb has been connected to a string of the world’s most beautiful women in the past few years, including Truro-born Hollywood starlet Peggy Lambsley, British Nigerian model Aaliyah, and the socialite Miffy Beaumont-Flattery. But despite Kennedy being spotted in popular nightspots on both sides of the Atlantic and making red carpet appearances with each of these certified bombshells, none of them has been able to hold Kennedy’s interest more than a few months.

It has been a remarkable transformation from mummy’s boy to womaniser for the “Hold My Hand, Hold My Heart” singer. When the Go Tos attended their first brIT Awards, three years ago, Kennedy took his mother, Orla, as his date. He took his sister, Fiona, to the Mercury Prize and the MOBO Awards and the Grammys the same year.

Will Jocasta Rose—at eight years Kennedy’s senior—last the distance? Or will England’s Rose find herself on Cole’s compost heap with all the rest? At least his mum got a new house out of it…
