Chapter Nine
Nicole
Our first class is… interesting. I expected an hour of lecturing, maybe being forced to practice kneeling or something, but Miss Scarlett spends most of the time asking us what we think submission means.
Why we want a Daddy or a Mommy to submit to.
All the other girls have answers at the ready, but considering I’ve had this whole thing kind of sprung on me out of nowhere, I’m not really sure what I’m looking for so I keep my hands and head down and don’t even try to answer her questions.
Gathering my books, I slide from my desk, but I only make it about two steps before I trip over something and fall hard on my knees.
“Cassandra Ruth!” Miss Scarlett’s voice rings out, sharp and angry. “Help Nicole up and then you and I are taking a trip to see Deputy Headmaster Montclair.”
“It was an accident!” Cassie’s voice pitches up to an indignant whine. “It’s not my fault she wasn’t paying attention!”
What a bitch . I’m tempted to say it, but the last thing I want is my own trip to one of my Daddies’ offices. They made it very clear this morning that I would be in major trouble if that happened and I’m determined to do everything I can to prove I’m a good girl.
Maybe if I can do that they won’t make me come to these stupid classes with Cassie the Cunt.
“Cassandra, you can either help Nicole pick up her things or you can spend a week in detention with Professor Faulkner.”
“Ugh, fine. ”
“Don’t worry about it. I’ve got it,” I snap as I scoop my books up and push up to my feet.
But I’m so flustered by the interaction, I forget to be careful. And as I rise, my skirt falls forward. Exposing me to the room.
“Oh my god.” Pure, unrestrained joy echoes in Cassie’s voice. “Is that… is that a diaper ?”
“No!” Face flaming, I jerk my skirt down to cover my diaper. “Shut up, Cassie!”
“It is!” Practically squealing with delight, she points at me and grins. “Only babies wear diapers. Are you a baby? Do you need your pacifier?”
Her laughter rings in my ears, and it’s more than I can take. Dropping my books on the ground, I reach out, placing my palms on her shoulders—and shove.
Cassie goes flying backward, landing hard on her ass and for a moment, a deadly silence fills the room.
“That is enough .” Miss Scarlett pins me with a hard glare. “Nicole, Cassandra, get your things. We are going to see the Headmasters.”
Fuck. If my Daddies find out how naughty I’ve been, they’ll definitely send me away. Panic claws at my chest, squeezes the air from my lungs and I do the only thing I can think to do.
I run.
Ezra
I’m eyeballs-deep in the monthly expense reports when the knock comes. Sharp, almost frantic.
Frowning, I rise from my chair and cross the room to open the door. And my heart leaps into my throat at the sight of Scarlett, looking more frazzled than I’ve ever seen her, holding Cassandra Morgan by the arm with an iron grip.
“Ezra. I’m so sorry. There was… an incident and Nicole ran off. I don’t know where she went.”
Panic wraps around my chest, squeezing so tightly I can barely breathe. My babygirl is missing?
Snapping out of my momentary stupor, I shove up from my seat and stride past them toward Byron’s office. “When?”
“Just a few minutes ago. I came to find you as soon as she ran off.”
Shoving open Byron’s door, I ignore the sight of Erica Jennings bent over his desk, her skirt flipped up to expose the red marks left behind by the paddle my boy holds in his hand.
Byron’s pale eyes immediately fill with concern when he spots us. “What’s wrong? Where’s Nicole?”
“I don’t know. Something happened and she ran off. Scarlett, stay here with Erica and Cassie, Byron come with me.”
Setting the paddle on his desk, Byron hurries past Scarlett and Cassandra and together we head for the main hallway.
“Where do you think she went?” Worry and the leading edge of panic color Byron’s voice as he whips his head around, searching for our princess.
“She couldn’t have gone far,” I assure him. “The exterior doors lock for exactly this reason, so she should still be in the building.”
Knowing that doesn’t ease the churning in my own gut as we begin our search. Classroom after classroom, checking in with the other students and teachers, asking if they’ve seen her. Nobody has, and by the time we head up to the second floor, my heart is threatening to beat right out of my chest.
“Goddammit!”
Whipping around, I scan the hallway behind us, searching for the source of that frustrated scream.
“The bathroom,” Byron whispers, pointing to a closed door behind me.
Nodding, I head for the door, easing it open and peering inside. My knees go weak at the sight of our babygirl standing in front of a mirror, her skirt flipped up as she fiddles with the fasteners on her diaper.
Naughty little princess.
“What are you doing, little girl?”
Head jerking up, Nicole meets my gaze with surprisingly angry eyes. “Trying to get this fucking diaper off. What does it look like I’m doing?”
“Uh-oh,” Byron whispers from behind me.
Uh-oh, indeed.
“Unless you are looking for a second spanking today, I suggest you leave that diaper right where it is, Nicole Marie.”
“No! I want it off! It’s stupid and I hate it. I hate the diaper and I hate this school and I hate you!”
Shock freezes me in place as her words stab at my heart. But Byron is not so affected. Pushing past me, he storms up to her, taking her by the arm and spinning her around to land several hard swats to her upper thighs.
“That was a very naughty thing to say, little girl. Apologize to Daddy Ezra right now.”
My heart trips in my chest, torn between love for my boy and this sudden show of protectiveness, and sorrow for our Little girl. Tears streaming down her cheeks as she dances in place, her pained howls join the sound of Byron’s hand striking her bare skin.
“I’m sorry, Daddy, I’m sorry! I don’t hate you I just—I just?—”
Sobs wrack her body, cutting off whatever explanation she might have given. Byron stops spanking her to scoop her up, cradling her in his arms.
“Shh, princess. It’s all right. Your Daddies are here. We’re right here, baby. It’s all going to be okay.”
“N-no it’s n-not!” she sobs out, curling into him. “I was so bad and you’re not gonna want me to be your Little girl anymore and you’re gonna send me away!”
“Oh, princess.” Finally, my feet move and I cross the room to pull my boy and our girl into my arms. “You aren’t going anywhere. There is nothing you could do to make us send you away.”
My words seem to get through to her and her sobs quiet a bit, though she’s still crying when she lifts her head to look at me. “R-really?”
“Really. If you’re naughty, we’ll just spank you. Or find another suitable punishment. But we will never, ever send you away, no matter how naughty you are.”
“I was really bad, though.”
“Tell your Daddies what happened, princess,” Byron coaxes her gently.
Sniffling loudly, she nibbles at her bottom lip, still not looking convinced. “You promise you won't send me away?”
“We promise,” I assure her, pulling a handkerchief from my pocket to wipe at her streaming eyes.
“Okay, well… I sort of… pushed someone down.”
Under other circumstances, that would certainly be grounds for a harsh punishment. But I have a feeling there’s more to the story, and when I meet my boy’s gaze over our princess’s head, I see my own suspicions reflected in his eyes. “Who did you push down?”
“Cassie.”
Ah. Now we’re getting somewhere. Cassandra Morgan was recommended for our program by her Daddy, who ended up breaking things off with her a week after she started with us.
That was a month ago, and she’s been nothing but trouble since.
I have my suspicions as to why, and those suspicions are the only reason I allow her to stay, at no cost to her.
But if she hurt my babygirl, well… we might have to take some more drastic measures if we’re going to allow her to continue in our program.
That’s an issue for later, however, so for now I focus on our naughty little princess. “Why did you push Cassie down, little girl?”
“Because she's a bitch. And I know I'm not supposed to use bad words but she is ! She was mean to me from the moment I walked in that classroom and then she got Marni in trouble even though Marni was just telling the truth. And then she tripped me and when I fell everyone could see my diaper and she was laughing and making fun of me and I just got so mad, so I pushed her down. Then I ran away ‘cause Miss Scarlett said she was gonna take us both to see you and I knew you’d be so disappointed in me for getting in so much trouble my first day and I didn’t want you to send me away so I just… ran.”
Anger boils in my veins. Not for Nicole, though. For Cassandra and for myself for not thinking to put her in a different class. I knew how much of a troublemaker Cassandra could be, but I never expected this level of bullying, even from her.
“Thank you for telling us the truth,” Byron says softly, pressing a kiss to Nicole’s forehead.
But when he looks up at me, I see my own rage reflected in his eyes.
“It was very naughty to run away and try to take your diaper off, but we can talk about that at home. Right now we need to go back downstairs and deal with this Cassandra business.”
“No! I don’t ever wanna see her again!”
“I understand, princess. But running from your problems never solves anything. You’re going to come downstairs with us and you are going to apologize for pushing Cassie down. And then we will discuss her punishment and yours.”
“Fine. I’ll apologize but I won’t mean it.”
Byron’s lips twitch, and I can’t even blame him. She sounds so much like a petulant Little girl it's almost too adorable for words.
But we can’t let her know how amused we are by her antics, so I pin her with a stern look. “You will apologize and you will at last make it sound sincere, or I will strip that diaper off and spank your bare bottom for everyone to see. Am I understood, Nicole?”
Pink blossoms on her cheeks at the threat. “Yes, Daddy.”
“Good girl. Let’s go get this mess sorted out.”
