“I just think you’re an insufferable piece of shit” I sighed crossing my arms over my chest and he dropped both of his arms to his sides. “And cruel… and annoying… and selfish… and—would you like me to go on, because believe me, the list is never-ending,” I humorously said.
“And when did you come to this conclusion? Before or after you fucked this insufferable piece of shit.”
“I have horrible taste in men, my history can confirm.”
“Insulting me isn’t going to get you anywhere,” he stepped closer and when his scent drifted into my nose, it was as though all my senses went haywire. Not now, ovaries.
“Yeah, but itisgoing to get you mad, and that’s all I need,” I shrugged my shoulders.
“You want to see me mad, tesoro?” he asked, slowly stepping towards me and I backed up. “Would you like that? Seeing me get mad? Showing that Icare?” he almost taunted, backing me up against the wall. “You won’t get that,” he lowered his voice, staring down at me and I fist both my hands at my sides.
“You’re a fucking ass!” I irritably said, planting my hands on his chest as I shoved him back. “And you know what? I really couldn’t give a shit if you cared or not, because God knows you only care about yourself.”
“Call me that one more time…” he paused, trapping me between him and the wall by placing his hands flat on either side of my head. “And you won’t be able to sit on yours for days.”
“Is that a threat?” I asked, holding his intense stare.
“Yes,” he reassured me, his lips inches away from mine.
“Bite me,” I leaned in to whisper up against his lips and he grabbed the back of my thighs, throwing me onto his shoulder.
I yelped, grabbing his shirt to steady myself as he walked.Smack.
He headed straight for his bedroom and my jaw dropped. I was appalled.Did he just smack my ass!
“Antonio. Put me down!” I groaned, hitting his back with my fists.Smack.
“And stop hitting my ass,” I seethed through my teeth.
He pushed open his bedroom door and locked it, walking over to his bed. He dropped me and I bounced on his bed before he grabbed my ankles, yanking me toward him. He grabbed my face in both of his hands and smashed his lips onto mine.Oh God, I missed his lips—no! Focus, Nirah.
I tried pushing him back but he grabbed my wrists, pinning them down on either side of my head. His tongue slid into my mouth and he positioned his knee—perfectly between my thighs—and applied slight pressure. I softly groaned before pushing his shoulders back.
“No,” I shook my head. “I’m frustrated right now and can’t even look at you,” I turned my head to the side, staring at his window. “I also can’t even kiss you.”
“Baby, I’ll fuck the frustration right out of you,” he whispered against my neck and a tingling sensation rushed throughout my body.
“Fine. Then I’m mad at you,” I rephrased.
“And why’smygirl mad at me?” he humorously asked, taking the opportunity to kiss my neck. My eyelids felt heavy but I managed to keep them open, somewhat wiggling away from him.
“Because you left me forfivedays. No calls. No texts. Nothing. Absolutely nothing,” I explained, not looking at him.
“You want me to call you when I’m gone?” he asked and I could tell he was smiling.
“Yes,” I truthfully answered.
“Why?” he asked like it was the most strange thing he had ever heard.
My head snapped to him in disbelief, but as soon as I looked up into his eyes, I turned my head again. If you don’t look at him, you won’t forgive him easily.
I was about to speak until I realized that this wasn’t even a real relationship. Or, a real marriage for that matter. He didn’t owe me anything.
I swallowed my pride and ignored the fact that this wasn’t real. “Because I just do,” I answered, and he gently took my face in his hand, forcing me to look at him.
“What would you have liked to know, tesoro?” he asked with a little peck—not letting go of my face.
“Did you have three meals a day?”
