“Oh Nereus,” I heavily sighed. “I’m your sister. If there’s something this big you need to tell me, then tell me. I wouldn’t have been mad or upset.”
“Really?”
“Of course,” I smiled.
“You’re going to make me cry,” he sadly laughed. “Cesar can’t see that. Not just yet,” he quickly added, and Cesar smiled.
“I’m sure you’re just as beautiful when you cry,” he whispered before kissing Nereus’ cheek.
“It’s just so hard to believe since you’ve always been a lady’s man,” I confessed, looking at Nereus.
“I go both ways,” he nonchalantly shrugged his shoulders.
They continued speaking as we headed back to everyone else.
“Nereus will be staying at the house while we’re on honeymoon,” I sang the last word as we approached Antonio.
“No. He won’t. I’m not letting a stranger stay at my house while I’m not there,” he said, pulling the glass from his lips.
“Our house,” I corrected him.
“No… my—” he cut himself off as I slightly narrowed my eyes, daring him to finish that sentence.
“Your what?” I asked, crossing my arms over my chest.
“You can’t scare me,tesoro,” he shook his head, and I smiled.
“Okay. Finish that sentence then,” I encouraged him, and he licked his bottom lip. “Finish. It,” I repeated when he stayed silent.
“Nereus can stay at our house,” he cleared his throat.
“That’s what I thought,” I said as I took his face in my hand, kissing him.
“Should we talk?” Cesar hesitantly asked Antonio.
“I’m your boss. I don’t interfere with your personal life,” Antonio shook his head, and I could tell that put Cesar’s mind at ease. “But,” he said, stepping up to Nereus. “Tread carefully. One wrong move, and you’re paying your dirty little cop a visit.”
Nereus swallowed hard before nodding.
“Was that supposed to be a ‘break his heart and I break you’ speech?” I whispered as he stepped back, and he nodded.
“Yes.” He’s adorable.
Nereus, Cesar, and I talked for a little while until Silvia approached me. “Hey, I gotta tell you something,” she whispered, and I nodded, walking away with her.
She broke the news that Jordan would be staying in England permanently. And all I could do was wish him the best and hope that he would find happiness.
“Now, go back there before your husband kills your brother,” she laughed, and I turned around.
Antonio glared at Nereus while he spoke to Cesar. Nereus laughed, and Antonio dramatically rolled his eyes. I couldn’t help but laugh, walking over.
“They’re a really cute couple, aren’t they?” I smiled, and he nodded in agreement. “They would’ve had cute babies,” I said, feeling Antonio wrap both arms around me from behind.
“We would have cute babies,” he whispered before kissing my ear. He gently bit my earlobe, and my eyes felt heavy as I slightly tilted my head to the side.
He held onto my waist, pressing the bulge in his pants against my ass. “Really cute babies,” I nodded as he kissed my neck.
