Surprised, I glanced over at Antonio, seeing him in conversation with Cesar. How does she— “He told me,” she answered the question in my head.
“Yeah, I am,” I smiled at the excitement on her face.
“Cant wait!” she sang as her and I grabbed two glasses and a bottle of red wine.
We started planning little things here and there for my wedding and it was incredibly fun with her. We could barely speak, think, or do anything with the way we were rolling on the floor—laughing.
It got so bad to the point where Antonio walked in, saw us on the floor, and walked out without saying anything.
The pole for my room finally arrived and she helped me assemble it. I had asked Antonio to help but he couldn’t keep his dirty thoughts to himself.
“Next we’re getting mirrors since Ifelthow much you like them,” he whispered in my ear and goosebumps rose on my neck.
We finally finished up at the house and headed to the club.
“So you’re like really fucking strong, right?” Amelia leaned in to ask as we walked into the lively club.
“Yeah, I guess. It’s mostly upper body strength for me,” I replied.
“And flexibility,” Antonio added and I lightly nudged his stomach with my elbow.
“Finally!” Silvia sighed, marching toward me. “Where have you— who’s this?” she cut herself off, looking over at Amelia.
I introduced the two of them to each other and after a million compliments and flirtatious comments, Sylvia finally offered to show Amelia to a table.
Taking Antonio’s hand in mine, I dragged him to my dressing room. “I thought I wasn’t allowed back here,” he humorously said and I rolled my eyes, closing the door.
“Were you going to listen?” I asked and he shook his head,no. “There you go,” I said, and he sat down on the sofa.
He threw one arm around the back and watched as I unpacked my clothes. I started ranting about the wedding, asking him questions and telling him things that were probably irrelevant but felt relevant to me.
Whilst I got dressed and ready for my performance, he just sat there and watched. I told him that he could go and get a drink so that he wouldn’t be so bored, but he reassured me that he wasnotbored while watching me. I was parading half naked in my dressing room. Of course, he wasn’t.
Silvia opened the dressing room door excitedly. “Are you ready!” she jumped up and down and I couldn’t help but laugh.
“Yeah, let’s go.”
And with that, we left and headed out. Antonio headed off to my table with Amelia and Silvia walked with me to the stage.
“There’s my girl,” Giovanni smiled, stopping in front of us.
“Hey, Gio!” I excitedly greeted. “I missed you,” I said and he pulled me in for a hug. “How are you?”
“Oh, baby, I’ve been very hurt these past few weeks,” he softly said and my face morphed into concern.
“Why, what’s wrong?” I asked, placing a light hand on his shoulder.
“You haven’t been here in a while,” he murmured like he was on the verge of tears.
“Gio!” I laughed and he smiled. “Well, I’ll be dancing soon, so don’t worry. You’ll feel better in no time.”
I eventually left Giovanni before making my way to the stage. The men and women were amazing tonight, and as usual, I was drowning in dollar bills.
“Oh my fucking God!” Amelia squealed, as I got off stage with Silvia at my side. “You’re not marrying Antonio anymore, you’re marrying me,” she squeezed me in her arms, and I snickered. “On a serious note though, you were amazing. You’re so fucking talented!” she complimented and I thanked her. “And since your pole is up, you can show me more,” she winked at me.
“Your pole is already up?” Silvia asked and I nodded. “Oh—when?”
“It only came in earlier today. I asked her and Antonio to help me put it up.”
