Page 91 of Cream & Sugar
My orgasm hits like a lightning bolt, striking over and over again. Shaun splutters as I shoot my load down his throat, but he copies my technique, keeping me in the delicious vacuum of his mouth for as long as he can. I’ve got to give it to him: the boy learns fast.
When I finally stop coming, Shaun lets me go with a gentle gasp and I slide down his powerful body like a limp puppet. Half-paralysed, I lay plastered against him, sticky and panting as his intense heat radiates through me. He reclines into the sofa, bringing us near-horizontal again. He wraps his big arms around my back, effortlessly moving me to a more comfortable position. I feel the thick muscles of his torso bulge beneath me and have no doubt this is what heaven must feel like.
“That was amazing,” I say once my words come back. “How are you so good at that?”
“Uh, instinct, I guess?” he says, bashfully. “I think I got a little carried away. I’m sorry—”
“Don’t you dare apologise,” I interrupt. “You were phenomenal.”
“Well,” the soft brush of Shaun’s beard grazes my neck, “I had to know what you taste like, Freddie.”
Bloody hell.
“I see. And did I taste good?” I ask, though I think I can guess the answer.
A low hum from deep in Shaun’s chest. “Unbelievably good.”
“Better than coffee?”
“Don’t push it.”
Our laughter swells like music, my tenor and his baritone weaving a crisp harmony. I could get used to this sound.
Shaun threads his fingers through my hair and palms the back of my neck.
“You can stay here tonight, if you want. Although I’ve got to open the café in—” my man mattress undulates as Shaun checks his watch, “shit.Five hours.”
Yikes, I hadn’t even noticed the time.
“My bad,” I say. “Sure, I’ll stay. Then I’ll come in with you, if you like?”
“You’re not on shift,” he points out.
“No, but I need somewhere to sit and figure out how to repair my car crash of a life. Unless having me there will be too distracting for you?”
“You’re a distraction whether you’re there or not.” Like a soft breeze, he kisses the top of my head. “Of course you can come.”
“Thanks, Shaun.”
Exhaustion presses down on me like a weighted blanket. Hard to believe my carefully engineered, semi-naked, honeytrap encounter with Shaun was only this morning. Now look at us. Were it not for the burglary, this would be the best day of my life. All things considered, it still might be. If this is what sex feels like when you actuallylikethe guy, then wow. One-night stands can jog on.
A yawn forces its way up my throat as my eyes droop shut.
“I’m going to fall asleep on top of you, if you’re not careful.”
“Fine by me,” he says, drowsily.
“Good.” As I melt into him, I whisper, “Guess what?”
“What?” he asks.
“I fancy you too.”
He gives me one final squeeze and, bodies entwined, we surrender to a deep and blissful sleep.
