***Casey***

“Casey, dear, there’s someone at the door for you.”

“Thanks, Clara.”

Who could that be? I’m not expecting anyone, and Ethan is in

Billings. Huh… a delivery man. I didn’t order anything, either.

“Hi.”

“Casey Bryan?”

“Yes.”

“Sign here, please.”

After signing, he hands me two boxes.

“Thanks.”

“Have a good day,” I tell him.

I place the boxes on the couch and open the bigger one

first. After folding back the tissue paper, I find the most stunning gown

staring back at me. I carefully remove it from the box and almost shriek in

excitement. The white sheer, floor-length skirt has a slit up the right side,

extending to the hip. The fitted bodice is held up by a single black diagonal

strap. The black seemingly wraps around the body, forming a horizontal “V” from

below the breasts to the waist, and lines both sides of the slit. I check the tag,

and it’s my size. I carefully fold it and place it back in the box before

moving on to the second package. In this one, I find a note. It simply reads “Love,

Ethan.” Beneath the note is a pair of strappy white stiletto sandals with three

black ankle straps, and a matching clutch. I wonder if he picked the outfit out

himself. If so, he’s got an eye for fashion. I already have an outfit, but it

seems this is what I’m going to wear.

Just as I’m about to call him, his face flashes on the

screen of my phone.

“Is this what you’ve been doing in Billings all day?” I ask.

“Do you like it?”

“It’s beautiful. I love it.”

“The moment I saw it, I knew I had to see you in it.”

“That’s an excellent reason for buying it.”

“It is.”

“I was being sarcastic.”

“I know. But it is an excellent reason.”

“Fine. Are you on your way home?”

“Why? Do you miss me?”

I can hear the smile in his teasing voice. And he says I act

like I’m sixteen? Well, I’ll indulge him.

“Yes. I do.”

“Think you can make it through a night without me?”

“You’re not coming home?”

“I might have to stay overnight.”

“Okay.”

“Okay?” he asks, a bit of disbelief in his tone.

“What? It’s not okay?”

“No, I was expecting—”

“A jealous fit?”

“Something like that.”

“I trust you… until you give me a reason not to.”

“Thank you.”

“Besides, I imagine you’re pretty attached to your balls and

don’t want to lose them.”

“Ouch!”

“Exactly.”

“On to safer discussions. I’m not sure what time I’ll be

back tomorrow, but we have to leave by seven, so I’ll pick you up then.”

“Guess I’ll have to find something to keep me

occupied tonight.”

I bite my lip to keep my giggle down.

“Casey.”

His voice is authoritative and full of warning.

“Are you using your cop voice on me?”

“Don’t do it,” he warns.

“Do what? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

“All your orgasms are mine.”

Fuck! I squeeze my thighs together as my pussy twitches. “Say

that again. I might just have one right now.”

He groans in agony. “You’re going to kill me, minx.”

“Don’t worry. We’ll die together.”

There’s a long pause and I think we got disconnected, but then

I hear a sigh.

“I’ll try to be home as soon as I can.”

“Okay. Bye!”

After hanging up, I grab my checkbook and go in search of

Clara. I find her in the kitchen making lunch and wave it at her with a smile.

“Don’t think I forgot about you.”

Pen poised to begin writing, she places her hand on mine.

“It’s fine, dear. Ethan already took care of it.”

“He did?”

“Now, don’t go worrying your pretty little head about it.

It’s not that big of a deal.”

That’s what you think. I need to have a talk with Mr.

McKenzie.
