“Call your sister,” River growls. “We’re finding our omega, now. We need to get in and out with the maximum amount of damage. Luna can keep a secret and fuck people up. Tell her to bring extra weapons.”
We have a few guns on us, but nothing in the way of knives, hand grenades, or flame throwers. I have a feeling we’ll want to teach Cam’s dad a lesson he won’t live through as well.
“Fuck!” he yells. “I have this awful feeling in the pit of my stomach.”
“Listen to it,” River insists. “Something is wrong, but that’s because Camden is in trouble.”
Nodding, Brooks takes off toward the SUV while we chase after him.
Lee:
Want to fuck some shit up with us? Our omega is gone. Grab anything you can that will make a grown man scream.
Luna:
Tell me where I’m headed. I’ll sneak out the back door while Dad’s in a meeting.
God, I love my sister so much. I may give her shit, but she always has my back.
My foot is heavy on the gas pedal as I race out of the parking lot, and my alphas hold onto the oh shit handles. Neither says a word as they grit their teeth, knowing I will bite their heads off.
My omega isn’t with me, which means I’m losing my goddamn mind right now. The running mantra in my mind is screaming at me to go-go-go, and thankfully, we don’t encounter a single police officer.
I’m not sure what I would do if we’d been pulled over.
My phone has a full view of the compound, and it takes me seconds to also pull the blueprints from the city. I’m a dangerous beta in my own ways, but no one can convince me that information isn’t power.
Parking a half a mile away, we begin to walk toward the compound after hiding the car. Luna catches up to me on her motorcycle, throwing me a bag as she continues up to the gates.
“What the fuck is she doing?” Brooks asks.
“Bait,” I grunt, knowing she’s planning to flirt while we sneak in. If the guards give her too much trouble, she’ll kill them.
Luna is going to be much more on edge because she knows I’m freaking the fuck out. I don’t even feel badly for the poor bastards.
Jumping the chain link fence, we sneak our way through the grounds, finding people talking shit as they mill around and talk.
“I think the President is going to be busy for a while,” one of them laughs. “Think he’ll kill Cam for this stunt?”
“Shh. You know more than I do. The Pres threw everyone out of the clubhouse, but I’ve heard screaming occasionally. I just hope he doesn’t make us clean blood and shit from the walls and floors,” the other alpha sighs.
God, I hate Cam’s father so much. River is pale as we move past the men, while Brooks becomes even angrier. There will be hell to pay, and the bill is due now.
There are men surrounding the building, and we split up to ensure they all take their last breaths. My gun has a silencer on it, palming it as I walk behind the stupid club members and shoot each one in the back of the head. By the time one falls, I’m already shooting the next.
My teeth bared in anger as I think about how they remind me of dominoes. Cam’s dad, Leroy, thinks that he can’t be touched, which is why none of his men are actually guarding the clubhouse. Their posture is bored, not at all bothered by the whimpers I can hear inside.
They were begging to be killed.
My boot smashes into the lock at the back door, my lip curling at how terrible the security is here. My gun is in my hand while I hold my fucked up bag of weapons, and River and Brooks find their own way into the clubhouse.
Cam is tied to a chair and passed out as we stomp into the room, while his dad just glares at us.
“Are you the fags that turned my son?” he yells.
I don’t see very much of this type of cruelty because of who I am. The fear my presence evokes tends to curb people’s tongues, regardless of what they think of me or the people that I love.
Closing the door with a kick behind me, I shoot Cam’s father in the kneecap. Brooks smirks and shoots the gun out of his hand, while River grabs the back of the chair and pulls Cam away to safety.
