“If I’m okay with it? I’m freaking great with it. Ah! Say it again.” I crawl toward Fen and take him in my arms, kissing his chubby little face. “Who am I? What’s my name?”

“Mama. Mama, hi.”

“Hi! I love you.”

He blows me a kiss. “Wuv you.”

I look at Loomis, my heart so full it feels like it’ll burst.
