"Sam's feeling stressed. I was thinking we could put on a nice little show for her later." I chuckled while distracting Nora away from her query about Sam. "Tan your hide to a ripe pink."

Anita chuckled at us and finally took off her coat. She draped it over the back of the sofa then leaned her chin on her hand after propping her elbow on her knee.

"Go hug Anita," I whispered to Nora, but loud enough for Anita to here. "She looks lonely."

"Okay." Nora laughed when I released her then pounced on her friend, grabbing her in a playful embrace that tackled her into the pillows. "Are you lonely?"

Anita laughed, her curls flopping against the cushions while she held her feet in the air to keep her shoes from the sofa. The way she wrestled with her own body to keep her skirt down and knees together amused me more than it should.

"I'm not lonely." Anita huffed, despite her chuckles. "That's Caroline's delusion."

"Hmm." Nora tapped her lip, half laying on her friend with almost none of her actually covered by the robe. "Hard up? When was the last time you had sex?"

"Nora! Don't ask me sex questions while your girlfriend is looking on and when I can see both of your breasts." Anita's laughter relaxed her expression, and she dropped her hand on Nora's head as if she had no idea where else to touch her without brushing against something naughty.

The two of them amused me, and I perched myself in the armchair across from them to revel in their antics.

"Nora, for Pete's sake." Anita groaned despite her laughter, but kept her palms tight against her face, not daring to look. "Caroline, will you control your girlfriend, please?"

"Frankly, I have seen enough of Nora's vagina for one lifetime." Anita huffed and puffed, still covering her eyes.

"Okay, okay." Nora conceded, her giggling endless at that point. She climbed off Anita and mooned me by flipping up the edge of her robe. I swatted her ass and she sucked in her breath before prancing off down the hall. "Be right back."

I bit my lip while I watched her ditch her robe in the hall before swinging into the bedroom. My attention returned to Anita and I said, "You're in the clear."

"For Pete's sake." Anita sat up, fixing her hair before settling properly on the sofa and crossing her legs. She met my gaze with a huff, and I laughed at her.

"Little tense there, Doc?"

"I'm quite pleased that she's very happy right now but goodness." Anita propped her elbow on the arm of the sofa and finally met my gaze without fussing.

"You are the most prim and proper annoyed person I've ever met." I chuckled, shaking my head. "Unknot those knickers, Neets."

"Good." She nodded and the scowl finally left her. "I am happy that Nora's good."
