"I will," she said, her words deep and husky, despite their normally pitched tones.

"Yes, Mistress." Marley pouted despite her agreement, and she glanced at Nora again.

Nora let out a soft laugh and hid her face against my neck. The grin never left me as I witnessed Nora melting into the scene. Both Nora and Marley started at the sound, but neither one of them recoiled. Marley's lashes fluttered and Nora's teeth chattered when she sucked in her breath.
