Story: Snow Hunted
He laughed, jumping out of the way.Although,he started circling around. The Queen paid me a lot of money to find and kill her.
The Queen? You’re working for her now? If father only knew.I said in disgust.
Calm down. See. I’m in a bit of a pickle. I was hired to bring back her heart and liver.
I readjusted, so I was perfectly in between Garrison and Snow. I knew he was right. He could have gone after us before now, so this was all a game. He wanted me to show my true self to Snow, but why?
You seem to have a strong affection for her. Careful not to let the Queen find out.
I couldn't care less about her.
He laughed because he knew I was lying. No need to pretend with me. She is a beautiful woman. Say… does she know?
Know what?
That the Queen is her mother. He huffed.Imagine my surprise when she let me in on that little secret. I could never figure out how she stopped having kids but stayed so young.
Snow just found out and is devastated.
Then help me.
Help you?
Hunt down the other children. Snow is the first, which means the Queen is still using the others. We obviously need to go after the youngest ones first.
And kill them?
Yes.
No. That’s not who I am.
He laughed.Who you are? The Queen is going to keep coming after Snow. Every day she stays alive is a day the Queen grows weaker. If we can find and kill the others, then we can finally be rid of her once and for all. Think of all the people’s she’s killed.
I’m not doing it.
She killed our father!
Our father killed himself when he hunted down her children. What did you all think was going to happen? You don’t go against the dark Queen without risking your life. If you both thought she wouldn’t come after you, then you were living in a fairytale.
I must have touched a nerve because Garrison lunged forward at me.
What did I say?I sneered, jumping out of the way.
You never gave a damn about father.
I was eight years old, and he wanted me to kill another child. It was bad enough he used me to lure them away, but to actually kill them! Do you know how hard it is for an eight-year-old werewolf to be abandoned? How hard it is to survive? The things I had to do.I shuddered at the thought.
Tell me, brother, what was so hard? Did you have to kill to stay alive?
When I didn’t speak, he continued.
You did have to kill.He giggled in delight. How many? Five? Ten?
He waited.
More than that, brother? Oh, you have been a naughty boy. Does Snow know?
He looked over his shoulder at her.
