Story: Snow Hunted
“I’ve already told you,” he sighed heavily. “We left in the middle of the night. I imagine they’re aware we’re gone now.”
“They won’t be an issue, will they?” I straightened my back, looking at him. It wasn’t that I was worried about them, I just didn’t need them prolonging the inevitable.
“No. They won’t be an issue.” He sat in the dark green chair in the corner of the room, looking out the window. Goddess, he was a beautiful creature- strong with broad shoulders, dark hair, light grey eyes and dark facial hair. Him sitting there with his legs spread apart and his elbow resting on the arm of the chair looked like it should be painted and hung up in castles. He looked like a King on his throne.
The dark King. I smiled at the thought.
Perhaps when all of this is over and that soul sucking bitch is dead, I can get what I need from her father and then kill him off too. I loved when a plan came together.
I slowly sauntered over to him and pressed my hand to the inside of his thigh. He cut his eyes to look at me, but made no indication he wanted more, but I knew he did. I could see the hunger in his eyes.
I heard the rattling of chains behind me.
Damn her!
I jerked around to see Snow coming too. She was still groggy as she pulled her arm up as much as she could before realizing she was chained to the bed. Any other circumstance and with anyone else, this would have been excellent foreplay. Perhaps Gage and I could reenact this at some point. I felt a tingle between my legs at the thought of Gage chaining me to the bed again.
Her arm fell and her eyes closed as she swallowed a big gulp of air. Her head wobbled from side to side before she opened her eyes, blinking hard. “Where am I?” She looked around the room then her gaze landed on me, before moving to Gage. “What have you done?” She strained to sit up. “You asshole! I trusted you.” The chains clanked as she moved her arms and legs to try to get off the bed.
“That’s your fault, princess. I told you not to. But you couldn’t keep your needy little cunt away from us.” He stood up and walked beside me.
Her face contorted in confusion. “Why? Why would you do this?” She was shaking from side to side, trying to get her hands free.
“It’s no use. These chains are forged from dragon’s fire so I can assure you that your measly strength won’t be enough to break through them.” I taunted.
She huffed and laid back down, staring up at the ceiling. No doubt, her mind reeling.
“Is that it?” I nearly chuckled. “I expected more fight from you.”
She turned her head to look at me, but didn’t say anything.
“Nothing?” I poked her a few times like children poke dead animals to see if they're still alive, unsure if they’re going to come to and lunge at them.
“What’s the purpose? You have me chained to a bed in dragon chains. Gage there is a traitorous bastard and you...” She looked back at the ceiling.
“Me what?”
She looked back at me casually. “It really is shocking to me. Everyone is so scared of you, the big bad dark evil Queen, but you are a coward.”
“Excuse me?”
“You use magic so you don’t have to get your hands dirty. You used this version of Gage to do your bidding and then you chain me, while unconscious, to a bed with dragon chains. Tell me. For someone who seems so powerful, you have seemed scared of me from the moment you stepped foot into this castle. You locked me, a little girl, in that closet for a room and now you’ve locked me to a bed with dragon chains.” She laughed, shaking her arms. “Dragon chains. You are a coward.”
“I’m no coward!” I seethed.
“Ok.” She said shifting her eyes back to the ceiling.
I walked over to the nightstand and grabbed the blade out of the silver decorative box and walked over to her, dragging the blade from her forehead, across her cheek and down to her chest. I pulled it up, holding it above her, clasping the handle in both hands.
She looked at me lackadaisically, then back at the ceiling.
I screamed and thrust the knife down, watching for a flinch, but got nothing. I stopped with the tip of the knife touching her chest, a drop of blood pearling on her satin white skin.
I lifted the knife and screamed in frustration. This was not as much fun as I hoped it would be.
I wanted the fight.
I wanted the fear.
