Story: Snow Hunted
Although… she may have been the first of the Queen’s children, I wouldn’t have killed. She had this pure innocence to her, completely opposite from the dark Queen. Perhaps the Queen somehow managed to pass what little goodness she had remaining to Snow when she implanted her in the old Queen’s body.
The thought sickened me. All those families out there… destroyed by the dark Queen. Mothers killed and children born, all the while the families have no idea the Queen will be coming after them on their eighteenth birthday.
She had to pay. That much was certain. And the first priority was keeping Snow alive, because every day she was alive made the Queen weaker. I needed to get the house together so we could come up with a plan. All of those that had tried in the past were killed, but perhaps there was another way. We just had to figure it out.
It’s been my mission, my father’s mission and my grandfather’s before him to rid this kingdom of that evil bitch because of all the countless things she’s done.
I could feel myself getting worked up the more I thought about her.
I had taken out one of her evil spawn and while part of me felt guilty, the other part knew it’s what needed to be done, even if Gage or Snow didn’t approve.
I remember how pissed he was when he found me after the kill. I don’t think I’d ever seen him so enraged. He said Snow wouldn’t want that and encouraged me to wait while we found another way to kill the Queen, because that was the end goal.
Her death.
But she always seemed to find some way to get out of it, but not this time.
Not on my watch- our watch.
I sat up on the bed when I heard voices. I focused on them and recognized Snow talking.
The sun was still up, so it couldn’t have been the boys.
Then panic filled me.
FUCK!
I raced out of the bedroom and leapt with ease in one bound down the stairs and was at the front door two steps later, swinging it open, pressing my hands to the handrail on the porch.
“Snow!”
She looked up at me and smiled, and I relaxed.
Standing in front of her was a child, no more than ten years old, wearing worn rags and a shawl draped over her head.
“Look at this Gage! Show him!” Snow encouraged the child. “It looks just like my mothers! I remember seeing pictures of her with this very same bracelet.” She said exuberantly.
The girl turned her head to look at me and from under her shawl I could see the dark hair and the evil green eyes at the same time a smirk crossed her face.
Gage! Hel-
Before I could finish calling for help, I saw a bolt of red light aiming right towards me. It felt like a dragon kick to the chest, sending me flying backwards through the house.
Before everything went black, I heard Snow scream, followed by silence.
Snnnno…

Itwaslikedéjàvu.
We got to the house as quick as we could. Enzo was already standing over Snow’s body, her head in his lap, and Gage had run ahead of us, even though he wasn’t anywhere to be seen.
Enzo looked at me with panic in his eyes. “She’s gone.”
I shook my head. She couldn’t be.
