Story: From Angel to Rogue

Soon, they were arguing like toddlers while Evy and I exchanged knowing smiles.

We just knew we were going to be in-laws one day.

“Can I have a ride, please?” I asked later that night. Lan was busy fixing something on his bike, in just his white tank and low jeans.

My man was the most handsome man in the world, and I just couldn’t get enough of him.

And he was still obsessed with motorcycles and maybe I was too. I loved the feeling of riding on his back with no care in the world.

Lan pulled me into his arms and kissed my lips like we were teenagers. And it left me breathless.

“Have the gang settled?”

“Yeah, Aaron and Astor are asleep, and I asked Luka to keep an eye on them if they needed anything while I go out on a midnight ride with my man.”

Lan grinned. “Anytime for my wife.”

“I love you,” I said sweetly, my eyes roaming over his face like a giddy girl in love.

His eyes softened. “And I love you,” he said, pressing a kiss on my nose.

Soon we were one with the wind on a full moon night.

My nose buried in his neck, breathing his scent with my arms wrapped around his strong body. His brown eyes looked at me through the rearview mirror every ten seconds.

Like I was the sole purpose of his life.

And my rogue boy was mine.

Somehow, life just makes sense in the end.

Mine certainly did and I wouldn’t change a thing.

I was right where I was supposed to be all along.
