Story: Desire
As the light turns out and I lay next to Silla, I have to come to terms with the fact that there are some things even I can’t protect or shield her from.

SIDNEY
Iwoke up today annoyed, and as if something isn’t right. I pushed two inmates out of my way, because I thought it would help, but it didn’t.
And now I’m drinking coffee and eating breakfast, scowling at my friends because I don’t know if I need to fuck or torture someone.
“Who shit in your cereal?” Ayden asks, brow raised as he takes a sip of his orange juice.
Andrya smirks, watching me curiously. I rarely feel off like this. I typically go through life happily torturing my recruits or draining my balls into whatever mouth, pussy, or ass is available.
The only change is the girl.
“Have either of you seen the girl since class?” I ask, both ignoring and answering Ayden’s question.
“I have,” he says, taking a savage bite of toast. “I had dinner with her last night because Isaac found me first. Then, I saved her from some asshole who pushed her against the wall so hard, she had a red mark on her forehead. I offered Silla ice cream from our stash, Andrya.”
“She’s always welcome to our sweet treats,” she says with a wink and a smile. Great, now I’m thinking about them eating each other out. Fuck.
“And the girl has a name,” Ayden reminds me, to which I snarl and bare my teeth.
He blows me a kiss with a wink of his own, and I roll my eyes. He’s pretty, but we’ve never crossed that line. Andrya and I, on the other hand, find ourselves falling into bed with each other often. Both in and out of the classroom.
“You should see if you can get to know her better, Sidney. She’s getting under your skin, and if you don’t sort yourself out, you could hurt her,” Andrya reminds me.
Blowing out a breath, I nod, eyes on the pastry I’m pulling apart.
“What if I hurt her anyway?” I ask, because I never want to hear her scream the way she did when she was in the vent. I didn’t tell them this, but I puked after that class.
Screams typically make my dick hard, but the only reason I stayed erect during that class is because there was a warm mouth around it. Biology, nothing more.
“Are you worried about that? You’re the one who usually has the most control out of the three of us,” Andrya says, chewing her lip.
Reaching out, I take my thumb and pull it free. “Don’t do that,” I admonish. “I don’t like blood with my kisses unless I’m the reason for it.”
I don’t know why I said that. Ayden looks at me in surprise. My mind is all fucked up, and it’s making me act out of character.
Andrya releases her lip, eyes wide. She’s the only woman that I’ve ever kissed. I don’t think she realizes this, but during practical exercises, I choose her if I know there will be kissing involved.
Everything else doesn’t feel as intimate.
“Sidney, say her name,” Andrya commands, leaning into my hand.
Getting up, I shake my head. “It’s stupid. It won’t change anything outside of the fact that I need to find her. I feel odd things, and I need her to make it stop. I don’t feel like myself,” I grumble.
The twins look confused and sad, but I can’t focus on that right now. I need to get back to being myself, so my skin doesn’t feel so tight.
Striding out of the room, I begin to search her out. She’s not at the dining hall, or in Isaac’s office.
Annoyed, I’m ready to ask the weasel Ayden used to get information about her, when I see her curly hair and curves.
I’ve always enjoyed the skin that Section B’s uniforms show off, but now I growl at the sight. Walking quickly, I follow her as she moves.
Someone stops her in the hallway and she tips her head back to speak to them. Her body language is relaxed, but she hasn’t been here long enough to make friends.
Thanks to the twins and I, she’s been in the infirmary or her room most of her time here.
