Story: Desire
“Yep, no one else can know except for me, because you’re in my office bemoaning the fact that you screwed things up with her. What was it? You know I’m a damned vault,” he cajoles.
Nodding, I look down at my feet, my arms braced on my thighs. They’re freakishly large, all the better to stare at while I admit my mistake. I shouldn’t have teased her so much about her charges and the gossip surrounding her.
“Drizella Tremaine is a virgin and in Section B,” I tell my feet. “I was crass and teasing her about how innocent she is, and it turns out the joke’s definitely on me. She left screaming about how she’ll end up losing her virginity in front of the entire class, which is not something anyone deserves. I’m an idiot.”
Silence welcomes the end of my sentence, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Isaac punches me. He is intrigued by her as well and likes Silla.
Peeking up at him, I am greeted with his thunderous expression. “Who do you know that’s twenty-four and a virgin?!” I ask.
“The royals are different,” Isaac growls, disgust clear in his voice. “They use marriage as a stepping stone with their daughters and virginity to sweeten the deal. These people are built differently. Even I know that. I’ll also be damned if Ayden or Sidney slam their cocks into her as a training exercise for her first time.”
Leaning back, I grunt, “Silla called herself one of the Queen’s Whores. I wouldn’t be surprised if she heard one of them say that, or Andrya. Those three use the class as their own personal space to get their rocks off. But the sad reality is that they get shit done, and while there are casualties, the spies that graduate their program live longer.”
“I wish we could transfer her out,” Isaac says, a calculating gleam entering his eyes, even as he glowers at me. “You even said you didn’t have much information on her. Silla isn’t a prostitute, she’s really smart because she passed her assessment with flying colors. I asked her how she was caught when she’s this good at hacking, and Silla said she had no idea. Something isn’t right here.”
“I would say you’re correct. It’s why I need as much information about her outside life as possible. This is a very cruel way to set someone up, but also ingenious,” I tell him. “Silla isn’t going to want to see me right now. Will you go after her class is done?”
“Yeah. I want to talk to her some more, see how her first poisons course went. If she was studying, she’ll be fine tonight. I’m telling you, Silla is wicked smart. It feels like a waste of her talents to be in Section B,” Isaac says, sighing. “Though, you said that she was flirting with you and she has a decent poker face. But her eyes…”
“Have you noticed that they say everything?” I ask him.
“Fuck. Yes. She hid behind her hair a lot when she talked to me. I kept getting frustrated with her because she wouldn’t tell me anything, and then she’d drop a tiny truth bomb. I yelled at her during her assessment,” Issac reveals.
My lips part in surprise. “You’re kind of hard to piss off,” I chuckle.
“I am. But, fuck this girl unraveled my patience so easily. So if you had to choose, would it be better to lose your virginity to someone you don’t know well but trust, or to an asshole in front of a room of strangers?” he asks hypothetically, changing the subject.
I know his brain is working through something, so I follow. “Are you offering?” I ask. “Look, I shouldn’t be in charge of helping anyone lose their virginity. I’m terrified that even if she let me touch her that I would hurt her.”
Issac runs his hand through his blond hair. It’s always slightly too long, as if he can’t be bothered to get it cut, because he’s too busy. I imagine if he spent more time outside, the sun would enjoy highlighting it.
“It’s all that big dick energy,.” He smirks, making me snort. “This entire situation is shitty, but maybe I can help in some ways. I also know that this is an odd request, but can I work with her on her computer skills? I wasn’t lying when I said it was impressive.”
“Anything to keep her out of trouble. Andrya pretended to be her roommate and took things too far. She apparently used it to humiliate Silla in class. I’ve always known that Ayden and his sister fuck with the new recruits, but this makes me irrationally angry,” I admit. “There’s no privacy, no way to protect her from her instructors. I’ve given them so much leeway, there’s no way to rein them back in.”
Isaac stands, checking the time. “Nope. Any interest you blatantly show her in front of other people will just backfire on you. Even I have to be kind of careful because I’m an instructor here too,” he sighs.
“Just do your best, and keep her safe. I honestly won’t be upset if you have sex with her, or get close to her,” I tell him.
Rolling his eyes, a small smirk plays on his lips. “I’m surprised you’re not being rabid about this, since you obviously are interested in her too.”
“I have some apologies to make to her, and she needs people in her corner. I don’t have an issue sharing,” I admit.
Isaac gives me a smoldering look that makes my cock twitch. “We’ll have to see how she feels about it,” he chuckles, walking out of his office.
Fuck me, they’re both going to keep me on my toes.
ISAAC
I’m fighting a ton of emotions right now as I leave Grayson in my office. My long strides take me to the Section B auditorium, and the amount of people rushing to get out of my way doesn’t go unnoticed.
Fuck, I want to grab Andrya by the throat and tell her to leave Silla alone, but I meant it when I said it wouldn’t do any good. Ayden and Andrya love a challenge, so knowing I’m interested in Silla will make her life more difficult.
I kind of want to sanitize my cock after fucking her a few weeks ago. Andrya and I have been known to scratch each other’s itches when needed. I still don’t like her tactics with her recruits, or her much as a person.
Fuck, I’m just glad I had a full medical work up last week and was tested for sexually transmitted diseases. Maybe it’s uncharitable of me, but I’m a dick when I’m pissed off. It’s one of the reasons my anger came and went so quickly with Grayson. I don’t agree with how he handled things, but I do understand it.
It’s one of the reasons I don’t talk to many people. Computers I understand, they don’t have feelings, and I figure them out easily. Humans are confusing and complicated, and they frustrate me.
