Heholds two cups in his hands, one for hot coffee and the other iced, and holds out the iced one.
Myeyes narrow, butItake it. “How’dyou knowI’dbe awake?”

Itake a sip, and so does he. “What’reyou doing out and about already?”
Sighingheavily as he glances over his shoulder, he replies, “Clingygroupie.Gota head start getting my shit packed in the van.”
“Dree, you really oughta stop fuckin’ around with so many girls,”Ifinally say.
Hisbrows furrow as he peers at me. “What’sit to you?”

“I’mnot!”Iinsist. “Ijust don’t want you catching something or getting someone pregnant, is all.”
“Mhmm, sure.Whydoes it matter to you so much, then?”
Igroan and toss my hands in the air. “BecauseIhave the misfortune of giving a shit about you.”
Hemoves closer.Apeculiar look lights up his features, his dark brow arched.Whenhe posts an arm against the wall over my shoulder,Ihold my breath.
Adriancomes so close to my face that his body heat emanates onto my skin. “Ifyou’re jealous, all you have to do is say so,” he murmurs, “andI’llstop.”
Igulp before whispering, “Why?”
“Whydid you let me watch?” he asks with a smolder in his dark eyes. “Ifyou’re dating my brother, why didn’t you freak out and tell himIwas in the room?”
Mytongue swipes over my bottom lip, and my breath quakes the longer he watches me with an intensity that dares me to admit to somethingIdon’t have an answer to.
Ishove him away, pushing him back against the metal railing behind him. “Stopsleeping around before you get someone pregnant or catch anSTD.”
Thedoor to my room opens andZaksteps outside, only wearing gym shorts.Heyawns and stretches, exposing a little more of the thin line of dark hair trailing into his shorts. “Thehell are you doin’ awake, babe?”
Ishake my cup. “Theneed for coffee got too strong.”
Hestretches again, groaning loudly. “Dree’sgot a sixth sense just for your caffeine addiction, princesa.”Blinkinga few times, he refocuses on his brother. “Clingygroupie?”
