As my mate.
CHAPTERFOURTEEN
JONAS
Somewhere in North Carolina
Rileyand I spent another two days in bed together.
It probably wasn’t the smartest decision, but I needed her reenergized and healthy prior to our journey. Which meant slower fucking, more baths, and a lot of meals.
Fortunately, she loved fruit.
And she wasn’t averse to vegetables, either.
I’d hunted for some meat in wolf form. She hadn’t been thrilled by the deer I’d caught and brought home, but she’d eaten it anyway. Because she’d needed the protein.
The soft pink tint to her cheeks now told me it’d been the right decision.
We’d both woken up with the sun, the light sprinkling through the thin curtains.
“You feel up for a run today?” I asked, my knuckles brushing her neck.
She nodded slowly. “A run would be nice.”
“For eight or nine hours?” I pressed.
She looked at me. “Toward Fort Bragg?”
“Toward Fort Bragg,” I echoed.
Her mouth curved upward. “Okay.”
“We’ll have to find another place to den,” I warned her. “It’s going to be a few days of running.”
“I know. You told me we were at least two hundred miles away.” She yawned and stretched, causing the sheets to pull down and expose her pretty tits.
I leaned forward to take a nipple into my mouth.
Because I could.
And because I wanted to.
Riley threaded her fingers through my hair, holding me to her and encouraging me tosuck.
My perfect Omega,I thought, crawling over her and settling between her splayed thighs. My perfect mate.I slipped through her slickness, moving slowly, not quickly, and luxuriating in the sensation ofher.
“You’re beautiful,” I murmured, my lips against her neck. “And you feel…” I slid into her. “So damn good, Riley. So fucking good.”
She lifted her hips to meet mine, her motions as lazy and as slow as my own.
“Kiss me, Alpha.”
“As you wish, Omega.”
I nipped her earlobe, then drew my nose across her cheek before taking her mouth with mine.
Her fingers were still in my hair, but her opposite hand went to my shoulder, her sharp nails biting into my skin.
