Page 12 of Tweedles Reflection (The Crimes of Alice #4)
My mind regretted the wine the moment my brain came back into consciousness. Naked arms and legs tangled with mine. Something tickled my waist. My hand batted at the fluffy tail. I groaned and buried my face deeper into the warm chest beneath my face.
“Are we regretting last night, precious?” Cheshire purred in my ear, clawed fingers trailing down my arm, his body pressing into me from behind.
Pushing my backside into him, I couldn’t help but wiggle against his hardened length.
A hand cupped beneath my thigh, pulling it over the waist of the owner of the chest I laid on. “I have spent many a night wallowing in drink, but it has never made the day not come.”
I grunted. “No, logic this early, Mercury. Please.”
Cheshire rumbled against my back. “If midday is early, lovely.”
“Oh, fuck me,” I groaned, trying to hide further between the two of them, if only to make the pounding in my head stop.
Two hard lengths sandwiched my hips between them. Even with my head aching, my body responded. Hips swiveled. Low moans sounded.
Fangs scraped along my neck. “I do believe that’s exactly our intention.”
A hand reached between us and, without warning, Hatter’s cock slipped inside of me. My hips arched, pushing myself further onto him, and my head fell back against Cheshire with a gasp.
Claws pinched at my nipples and then was soothed by Cheshire’s tail. “I want my cock inside you, too. Will you open for me, pretty kitten?”
My eyes stayed squeezed shut as I nodded and then regretted the movement. Still, I needed them both inside of me. I could already feel the edges of my release coming on, and it was pushing back the throbbing in my head.
That meant logically more sex would remove it completely. Or at least that was what I was going to continue to tell myself.
“Slide your fingers alongside,” Cheshire instructed to Hatter.
Fingers prodded where Hatter and I were connected. I gulped down air, eyes flashing open when those fingers pushed inside Hatter’s cock, stretching me further. My hands grabbed at Hatter’s shoulders, fingers digging in.
“Shhh, relax, Alice darling,” Hatter murmured, brushing his nose against mine. “We have to make room for our pussy cat.”
Another finger nudged inside. I hissed at the burning sensation of being stuffed more than I was used to. Then I moaned as those fingers found a rhythm, pushing in and out of me until I was squirming on his length, begging for more.
Cheshire’s purr vibrated against my back, his hips pressing into me.
Suddenly, Hatter’s fingers were gone and the blunt tip of Cheshire pressed into the open space. I choked on air, grabbing at Hatter’s shoulder, yanking at Cheshire’s tail as they split me open.
“Oh, Reaper. I can’t. It’s too much.”
“Yes, you can,” Hatter grunted, kissing along my jaw and neck. “You’re already doing so well.”
Hands stroked down my sides, cupped my breasts and hips as he murmured encouragements in my ears. Then they were moving together as one. Hatter and Cheshire’s hands overlapped on my thigh as they thrust together.
Pressed between them, filled to the brim, I couldn’t do anything but take what they gave me. Every thrust stretched me wider. Every caress and kiss made my skin sing. One thing was for certain: I wasn’t thinking of the pain in my head any longer.
“I’m not going to last much longer, love,” Cheshire panted in my ear, his hand reaching over to grab Hatter’s hip. Their hips jerked together as if they were fucking each other as much as me.
I wished for nothing more than to have a mirror right then and there. To see all three of us together like this. Just the thought of it had my insides tightening.
“Oh, Alice,” Hatter groaned. “I won’t last if you do that again.”
Wanting nothing more than to have both of them come apart the way that I was about to, I bounced the small amount I could and squeezed my inner muscles.
The resounding groans that followed didn’t not prepare me for the vicious rhythm that followed.
Screams and cries of ecstasy ripped from my throat.
The bed smashed against the wall with each thrust. Any thoughts I had in my head were gone in the all consuming pleasure they were forcing upon my body.
My eyes squeezed shut, and I was gone. Everything shook and tightened. My toes curled. My heart raced until I could barely breathe at the strength of my release. Wetness spilled between my thighs, and I knew some of it hadn’t come from me.
Their movements jerked to a stop. Bodies shuddered against my front and back. Their hot breath blew over me as we all came back down into ourselves.
I pressed my forehead against Hatter’s chest. “I didn’t know...” I sucked in a deep breath. “You could even do that.”
“Oh, pet,” Cheshire hummed, fingers stroking down my body. “There’s so much more to come. Especially, once we have the Twee—”
A fist banged on my bedroom door.
“If you’re done fucking, don’t we have things to do?” Carban snapped from the other side of the door. “Or are we not saving the Underground anymore?”
Guilt crushed the euphoria. He was right. I was supposed to be taking the trials, not getting ravished by my two lovers.
Cheshire sighed, fingers lacing through my hair. “Don’t mind him, he’s been pissy since we came back.”
“Why do you suppose?” I asked and gasped as they withdrew, leaving me deliciously aching and empty.
Cheshire pressed a kiss to my shoulder then stood from the bed. “A multitude of reasons, I would think.”
I laid in the bed, watching the two of them move around the room. As they went about dressing themselves, they’d caress and touch each other in passing. The adoration in their eyes hadn’t lessened since leaving the bed.
A lesser woman may find their love for one another threatening. I couldn’t seem to get enough of it. Their obsession with one another only made me love them more.
“Stop looking at us like that, pet,” Cheshire growled in warning, pulling the belt of his pants tight.
I lounged on the bed, blinking up at him beneath my lashes. “Like what?”
Suddenly, their hands grabbed my ankles and yanked me down the bed. I let out a surprised yelp, then swallowed it as they hovered over me.
“Was two cocks not enough for you, darling?” Hatter stroked a finger around my nipple before giving it a tug. “Perhaps you need another go before we set forth on your quest?”
Cheshire’s rough tongue lapped at my other nipple, nipping it with his teeth. “Or maybe you need even more cocks inside of you. We have four. Best to use them while you have them.”
“Cheshire!” I gasped.
Hatter chuckled, his fingers swiping through the mess between my thighs. “I do so love you like this.” He scooped up some of their cooling release and pressed it back up inside of me. “Cannot let any of it go to waste, now can we?”
Carban, I assumed, pounded on the door again.
“Best get dressed and ready before he breaks the door down in a fit of jealousy.” Cheshire huffed and stood, offering me a hand. “Come on, you. Clothing before you tempt us to loiter any longer.”
“Me?” I asked impertinently, taking his hand. “I was simply wallowing in my regrets. You were the ones who started putting hands and cocks in places they shouldn’t be.”
“Oh, shouldn’t they?” Hatter mused before pressing an open mouth kiss to my neck. “I don’t remember you complaining. In fact, I remember someone begging for more.”
“Oh, I do indeed believe you are right,” Cheshire purred against my side, cupping one breast while his other hand and tail wandered. “Maybe you need a reminder of the events.”
“No, no, no.” I pushed at their chest with a laugh. “We have places to be and trials to fulfill, with no time for more. So find yourself something to keep busy while I dress.”
They reached for me once more.
“That’s not me.” Slipping out from between them, I wrapped my robe around my body and opened the door. “Out. Go distract someone else.”
A few moments later, I was dressed in my normal attire, blue knee length dress, orc bone corset, tea gloves and a little top hat sitting sideways on my head. It probably wasn’t the most practical outfit for heading off on a quest. However, it made me feel safe.
I scooped up all three blessings and tucked them into my pocket. Then I was as ready as I ever was going to be.
When I stepped out of the bedroom and then into the living room, all conversation ceased. Not in the ‘we’re so in awe of your beauty’ type of way, but in a ‘we were talking about you’ kind of way. A way that I had plenty of experience with from being human.
“What?” I glanced around the room at the four fae males. “What is it?”
“This came for you while you were getting dressed.” Coby gestured to a small black box on the coffee table.
“Okay,” I drew out, stepping forward to take it. “And this little box is what you were so animatedly discussing?”
Hatter sent a warning look at the twins before turning to me. “Some wanted to open it before you came out. Others tried to remind them of the term patience.”
It was quite obvious who wanted to go ahead and open the box and who wanted to wait. Either way, I wasn’t sure it was worth all the fuss and bother. When I lifted the lid off it, the only item inside was a small antique brass key.
“There’s a note.” Coby held it out to me, clearly having opened the envelope before anyone could stop him.
My lips pursed, I took the note and skimmed it. “The UnSeelie Queen sends her best wishes on our quest and bids us use this key to get between realms.”
“Best wishes my ass,” Carban snorted. “She’ll be the first to line up to say I told you so when you fail.”
“Excuse you.” Coby smacked his brother on the back of the head. “If she fails. Not when. Show a bit of faith.”
Carban rubbed the back of his head and dipped his eyes. “I didn’t mean it like that. Of course, I want you to pass the trials.”
I gave him a pinched smile. “I understand. In any case, has everyone eaten? Done what they need to do? We don’t know when we’ll be back here.”
None of them protested that they needed more time. There was nothing left to delay us. So why couldn’t I get my feet to move?
“What about you, Alice darling?” Hatter wrapped an arm around my shoulders. “Have you eaten yet?”
I placed a hand on my twisting stomach. “I don’t know if I could. Or should.”
“Best put something in that stomach,” Hatter countered. “As you said, we may not have a chance for a while, and you should be in tip top shape for what’s ahead.”
Reluctantly, I allowed myself to be ushered into the kitchen where Hatter made me tea with toast and a banana. It wasn’t much, but I wasn’t worried it would come right back up at any moment.
When I finished the last of my tea, I sighed. “Suppose there’s no delaying it any longer.”
“Suppose not,” Hatter agreed.
Without further discussion, I called for a ride and we all crowded into the van. The ride to Kat’s grandmother’s house, where the only open portal outside Mab’s mirror was located, was quieter than a funeral.
Even the driver seemed reluctant to speak.
The little cottage sat back from the road nestled within some trees. Even from the van, I could see fae milling in and out of the tree line, making the driver make a startled sound. I thanked him and climbed out of the van, giving him no chance to warn me away.
“Oh, Alice!” Kat’s grandmother called out from her garden with a grin. “Didn’t expect to see you today.” A dozen opalaughts wandered around her, pulling weeds and watering plants. A familiar opalaught’s ears perked up at my name.
“Alice, Alice, so good to see Alice, Trip is. Trip is.” The opalaught in question bounced around my feet, barely giving me room to move across the yard. “Oh, oh, Alice found Hatter, she did, she did.”
“Yes, Trip, I found him alright and a few others.” I smiled down at the rabbit-like creature. “I see you and your family have been keeping yourselves busy.”
Trip rubbed his paws together and ducked his chin. “Opalaughts eat grandma’s vegetables, opalaughts did. Now we help make more. Yes, opalaughts do.”
“Ah, that’s good of you.” I patted him on the head, continuing on my way toward the portal. “Keep an eye on everything until we get back, can you do that for me?”
Trip’s eyes brightened. “Yes, Trip can do. Trip can. Trip helping all fae make home. Yes, Trip has.”
I laughed and shook my head. “Well, you keep up the good work. Hopefully, you’ll be able to go home soon.”
Trip followed us until we reached the pond behind Kat’s grandmother’s house. I directed the others to follow me around to a small cave hidden behind some bushes.
“Alice,” Trip’s small voice stopped me. “Trip wonders if Alice will fix the sickness, Trip does.”
The hopefulness in the little creature’s eyes made a vice tighten around my heart. Swallowing, I licked my suddenly dry lips. Unable and unwilling to lie to the creature, I said the only thing I could.
“I’m going to try.”
Trip nodded solemnly. “Then Trip will help here, Trip will.”
“We’re counting on you,” Hatter told the opalaught, tipping his hat to him before stepping into the cave.
Cheshire passed by close to me. “Don’t let them panic. Find Mop, if need be. He’ll get them set right.” Then he too stepped into the cave.
Carban and Coby stood before the opalaught with matching expressions of discomfort. “We do not know you or your kind,” Coby said, “but if Alice believes you are the right fae for the job, then how could she be wrong?”
The two of them disappeared into the cave behind the others leaving me alone with the opalaught who looked so much like the creature who started my whole adventure. A question came to me at that moment that I couldn’t hold back.
“Trip?” I began. “What ever happened to Watch?”
“Watch?” Trip cocked his head to the side, his long ear falling over his face. “Trip does not know Watch. No Trip doesn’t. Only Watch Trip knows be gone for long, long time.”
Brow furrowed, I hummed. “Curious.”
Then, with a final look at the opalaught, I stepped into the cave and let the swirling magical force suck me back into the Underground once more.
