“The fuck!” one of them cried as Ben and Marcus came flying out of the side door.
“Go!” Craig yelled.
Logan pulled Brooklyn out of the elevator, and she began to run. The prince followed them while the other warriors took out the gangsters.
“There are more up here. Way more,” she cried, running.
“How many?” Brayden asked.
“Four. Five.”
“I’m here. Move it. Faster,” Craig said, catching up.
Logan picked Brooklyn up. They couldn’t let her human speed slow them down.
“Tell me,” he said, running.
“Left. Another left.” Brooklyn said, holding onto his jacket. “Here. Down here.”
Already the new set of guards were flying toward them.
“Stop!” A Russian warned.
“Down.” Craig said, putting his arm out to stop the prince as the serum gun lifted.
Brayden ignored the commander and teleported past the soldier. He shot his leg out to take out another one at the door.
Holy hell, he moved fast.
“Get Brooklyn down here,” the prince yelled.
Logan reached for a Russian who tried to attack him and snapped his neck.
The man fell to the floor.
He tucked her face into his chest, hating that she’d seen him do that. Her hands scrunching his jacket.
“Fuck. How does this work? Brooklyn. Open the door!” Brayden screamed, thumping the doorframe.
Dropping his mate to the floor, Logan took the keycard Brayden was holding—which he must have got from one of the now dead Russians—and handed it to her.
“Open it,” Logan told her.
Brooklyn fumbled with it, swiping it over the panel, but shook her head.
“It must be biometric,” Brooklyn said, glancing at the body on the floor.
Logan glanced at the prince and without hesitation, the vampire lifted the human into the air and began pressing his digits to the panel.
“He might not have access.” Brooklyn chewed her lip. “He may only have access to certain areas.”
The prince cursed.
Logan reached for the handle and tried it. Tungsten. There was no getting through with brute vampire strength. Which was how they’d kept Callan for so many months.
Craig joined them.
Then Marcus, Ben, and Kurt.
